Depression era cinema created so many great films and actors...1929 to 1939...

These short westerns were churned out like in a factory and made on a low budget shot on a tight schedule ( few weeks or less) during the 1930s depression era. That's why you can see a lot of stock footage in all these films.

The rodeo circuit is a real tough business...even still today...it's for those that have the stamina and physical know how...

Peter Hemming I think we're better off for it that way! JW hated these "Singin' Sandy" movies, but he had bills to pay even then, I expect.
