See, when I first read that line - "There is no God. It's just me. Goji." - it didn't feel like a threat. It felt... tired. I saw it as Goji explaining why he did this to himself. If there _was_ a God worthy of the name, then He would never have let Truman drop atomic bombs on Japan, and absent divine intervention, who could possibly hold America to account for what it did?
