Great cover, I don't think most folks realize how difficult even doing a cover of a song like this is

Thank you! There's a decent bit of work with it but the end result is always the best part haha 😄

I like the fact that you used a similar patch to the 90s/early 00s version of this song! I always enjoyed the harsher sounding vocoder tones in those versions over the lighter tones from the original

Thank you! I wanted to go for the grittier sound of the more recent live performances of the song while also testing out the EHX V256. I think it's a great and versatile vocoder for any fan of electronic music. I actually am working on a cover of the original as well from 1978 too! 🤙🎶

With votrax sc 02 it would sound actually same as the mix but i not sure there's way to sing with votrax so it would have to be programmed to say words of song

What I want to know is who the woman is who provides the refrain on "Music, Non Stop". It's driving me crazy that this information isn't available!

The "Ursula" Voice patch I believe on the DECtalk! It was a speech synth in the 80s, you can download the application on your computer! 😄🤙

Kraftwerk does seem the best platform for the EHX V256 vocoder. You my friend are a very talented musician! 😎

Sehr Gut, Roboter! I Am learning German in School :) Great Cover of this superb song by Kraftwerk! I think it's good and cool that you've made your own Video of the song. If you want to I would be happy If you checked out my Covers. I've done The Robots on GarageBand. Actually it did turn out pretty well/good. Before I found The app Ivoxel I'd tried to find some kind of vocoder The band Kraftwerk is using in The studio and live, as well. Once again great job and keep playing Kraftwerk songs and other tracks too! Subscribed to your channel long ago and I still think your videos are Excellent! I saw Kraftwerk at Dalhalla, in sweden 2014, and It was One of The best concerts I've ever been to. A memory for a whole Lifetime.

Awesome! I still want to see them live haha. But I checked out your cover, nice job! This video was originally just a test of the Electro Harmonix V256 Vocoder I recently purchased. And I think the V256 and the Minilogue work well together!

Hi! What I used for this cover: Hardware: Korg Minilogue (Recorded the sequence) Electro Harmonix V256 Vocoder (I used this for the vocals, I put it through the Korg Minilogue as well) Software (VSTs): TAL Noisemaker (For the chords and the bassline) Samples from The Man-Machine for the drums Xpand!2 (For the choir and string sounds) Hope this helps!

@@wolfgangflur9611 I actually use the Suite version of Ableton! At the time I made this I was still somewhat new to the program and using a DAW lol I have heard good things about FL Studio though.
