Dutch national championships. Met Mike Healey became good friends with him, when he was racing Factory KTM out of Holland. Broc Glover, Jeff Stanton, Kiedrowski, Mike Jones. Pedro Tragter. I mean it was the best time of my life. Mickey Diamond. The Volland brothers. So many Americans coming to Europe to race the outdoors. Best years for motocross.

Restoring my dads 1976 Suzuki RM250A. The 1976 A model was the first time that Suzuki introduced the 250 into the RM series. My dad is the original owner of the bike. He raced for one year, doing desert races, before going to college and meeting and marrying my mom. But he always kept the bike all these years. I am currently restoring my bike. My bike is a 1982 Yamaha XT550J Dual Sport Enduro. The XT550J was made for only two years-82 to 83 and is kind of rare and sought after model. Bought it for a $100 bucks and had no idea what I was purchasing.

I don't have time to listen to all of this right now but if this guy save the 2 Strokes you should be commended by all of us whoever owned a 2-stroke owner right now of a 92 CR500 just about everything you could do to a bike has been to this one! But I did buy a 2022 Honda crf450rl so basically it is a 450 Supercross bike with lights on in and a license plate but I did put $4,000 worth of mods on it already it is the first fuel-injected year ! this four-stroke absolutely amazes me the throttle response will rev instantly I never saw anything like it from a 4-stroke I already got so much done to this bike even all new reworked suspension the suspension on this bike is still as stiff as a covered wagon even after new suspension I cannot stress how stiff this suspension is until I get the suspension under control I will never never never ever take this bike off road! The Kentucky hill climbing racers crave any liquid cooled CR500R and will go across the country to get one at any price .its out law hill climbers racing the clock and the Angle of the hill ..betting big bucks on the side ..as most know the few years of the CR500R's steep fork rakes turning corners by squaring them off like super cross ..but long out door straightaways wasn't the most stable in a straight line ..which makes those particular CR500R's with less than 28* rake perfect for going straight up a 400 foot cliff faster than anything else in a straight vertical line ..all you need is a longer swing arm and chain ..and you have a Kentucky hill bike money maker

@@donniebaker5984 mines an ‘89 extended swing arm 5.60 paddle tire. My personal favorite year for climbing. Better gear ratios and more torque (and compression 😂).
