In the days following the crucifixion of Christ, it is easy to imagine His disciples being so forlorn and discouraged that they scattered and went back to the lives they once knew. Had they understood the words of Jesus before His death, they would have drawn together in eager anticipation of what was about to take place. As that Sunday dawned, however, Christ's followers did not know what the future held. That morning, Jesus arose. As rumors spread throughout the day about His possible resurrection, the disciples, except for one, gathered in a locked room that Sunday evening. One of the greatest events of their lives took place in that meeting but the absent disciple missed out and spent another week in doubt and despair. In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak, we learn an important lesson from the man who missed the Sunday night meeting.
