Kiryu hits Ichi so hard he hallucinates the rest of the fight 😂

Just to point out, the move shown in the clip at 24:49 is from the game *’Hokuto Ga Gotoku’* or *’Fist of The North Star: Lost Paradise’* which was made by the developers of the *’Yakuza/Like A Dragon’* Series. Since it was developed in the same game engine as *’Yakuza 0’* modders were able to import the characters move sets from *FOTNS* and give them to Kiryu in *’Yakuza 0’* So, whilst I have 0 doubt that Kiryu can counter bullets, this technically isn’t how he does it if you’re playing *’Yakuza 0’* and wondering why you can’t get Kiryu to catch and throw a bullet back at the person who shot him.

I'm stupidly happy to hear you guys gushing about my favourite video games series. I've only been a fan for roughly 4 or 5 years, but I utterly adore this series

Kiryu is not a virgin. Even way back in Yakuza 0, he meets those girls for dates from the Telephone club and the date ends with them splitting up in front of a Love Hotel they just exited.

I find the 'Dojima' part of 'Dragon of Dojima' to be a hilarious misnomer, because, at best, he works for Dojima for a grand total of two minutes in all the games. More like 'Dragon of Debt' because even in zero he seems to never have enough money for anything. Oh and I'd like to point out, 'Azure Dragon-God Spirit' or something to that effect, increases his strength proportionately to how strong his opponent is. Which means he could probably Tiger Drop a Kamehameha blast.

He was part of the Dojima family for years, it absolutely fits

I need to get an import of Ryu ga Gotoku 3, because that version’s theme song is a great tune by my fav musician, Eikichi Yazawa. “Loser” is one of his best songs of that era.

Yakuza 3 had blatant transphobia in it, but it was patched out of the rerelease. Good on you, Sega.

From the looks of it, they flipped it. (Sadly, the clip shown is the rerelease. I don’t care to see what was retconned out)

The Yakuza franchise has always been so full of fun content and amazing story, that I think only Dead Souls (the non-canon zombie combat game) has been poorly constructed -- and that's just because it handled like crap. It's so great, and if you're willing to look past how "ridiculous" it may be for newcomers, that you easily get your money's worth with each title. This includes spin-offs, like Judgment.
