From my experience and studying myself i have learned that what you hate in people or have jealousy of is what you lost about yourself through life changes or through trauma. Those parts of you have been "lost" but in reality those parts aren't lost but shown to you through others. I hate hyper fun playful people and thats a person type i used to be until i undergone abuse and trauma and change. I see it now.

inner child as an archetype is not same as peter pan -syndrome. If one identifies themselves solely with the inner child(consciously or not) then they might manifest 'the peter pan syndrome', but as an inner archetype its part of the whole, and should be, for it encourages to play and wonder, just like mentioned. These can lead to new discoveries and ideas. Its part of structure, but most likely it was meant that if the inner child is on top, so to speak, then its bad. but as existing, recognized part of the self, then its good. and this latter was not mentioned. but great video!

I love Jung's work on the shadow of a human and the path of integration. For most things it is universally true - if you're hating something in others, it may be a monster hiding in your shadow of self. I do think it is worth addressing the smaller part that isn't in that most I referred to. Some hate is normal and necessary and is not necessarily evidence of a lurking monster. Hatred of injustice is a result of the absolute love of justice. Hatred of cruelty can be a result of the love of kindness. Hatred of greediness can be a product of the love of generosity. Note these are all love based qualities - Jesus's teachings on cultivation of love aren't for no reason. Cultivation of love of righteousness will produce a natural division and therefore hatred of unrighteousness and wickedness. Knowing the difference takes a lot of integration work of your shadow... Do the work, find the monsters, bring them into your consciousness! Once you're conscious of them, the slayer of the monsters you find will be LOVE. It was not Jesus's primary focus and teaching for no reason, whether you believe in him as a person or as an archetype of perfection. Either way it doesn't matter... Love by definition creates natural hatred for the lack of love. You're only gonna find it with his shadow work though. Find them, own them, deal with them and then vanquish them with love as best you can - I know it works because I am living it. I've been working this out for at least 3 years now, it takes persistence and discipline. I still have monsters but I know them now. I know that I have to feed them with love, not hide and repress them with willful blindness.

I don’t mean the odd mistake but actual different words like “discussing” for “disgusting” or “intimate” for “intimidate” or “except” for “accept” It changes the whole meaning then they get annoyed people don’t understand them but don’t think grammar, punctuation or spelling is important.

@MrSaphen12 күн бұрын
No. Hypocrisy is something more obvious. This is something deeper, something more twisted. Carl Jung has always seemed to me like someone who understood the mind and the way people behave like no other, but at the same time utterly failed to understand the causes behind these thoughts and behaviour.
@axelhappenstance447611 күн бұрын
I wholeheartedly disagree. I believe he asserts boldly the causes by exploring the very “shadow” itself. The shadow itself is the cause. It doesn’t matter what experience or decisions or genetic inheritance built the shadow, what matters is that the shadow exists and it needs to be confronted. This is why the right wing understanding of Jung is so much more effective than the Left wing reading of other psychoanalysts. The trouble with trying to determine “cause” in behavior is that it only ever seeks to diminish the responsibility one has to their own self improvement. Ultimately it ends up becoming a tool to blame others rather than to accept, integrate, and move forward in a better direction. As the old adage goes, you can’t change the past, but you can choose what to do today. If modern popular psychology focused more on the power and control one can exert over one’s life more than those things which the person can’t control, people would generally be in a better position. Not only does Jung address the causes by realizing the shadow itself as the cause, he gives us a better way of looking at the causes in ways we can control.

We don't become anything when we hate appropriately in alignment with life-affirming values. The Bible, Romans12:9 instructs us to love sincerely and hate what is evil. Lying and controlling others using methods of deceit is evil. Evil people hate themselves and project their anti-life energy force onto others: hating them for destroying life, feeding on it, does not make us become evil, but the opposite: it frees us from evil that seeks to bind us, enmesh us to its Will. Stop blame-shifting.

I realized many of these channels who make content telling us about ourself are really young individuals just trying to figure out life and human existence. You are not carl jung, and what irritates him is not necessarily what would annoy you. While we can take valueable wisdom from carl jung's study we have to remember he lived in a different time and era where some topics were still taboo so information could have been scarce or misleading even. One line quotes with no context "you are what annoys you" can be incredibly misguided. It feel like an attempt to bring someone down to your level to feel secure. Everything is interconnected to the same source but everyone is not one. Each individual has a unique fingerprint and no-cloning theory in quantum mechanics proves it. We share similar pain, fears, love and joy but our choices make us individuals.

Right, but this isn't a 1 line quote, it's a 33 minute long video that delves into the nuance you just described lol...

Carl jung might be right even tho he didn’t have any evidence he was just way too ahead of his time that no technology or studies can prove his theory he basically see pattern and point it out in fact he is probably right there has to be some sort of structure that shape our mind collectively

@icedcoffee8561 they're wrong then. Ask a Swiss person. Jaw should be up, not dropped, lips slighly in an o shape. Neil Young is a young. Carl Jung is a jung.
