But that doesn't mean it requires no mental aptitude as well. A quiet, calm and toned down mind of a soldier during a firefight speaks highly of his combat capability.

I am a Sikh and I cannot be needlessly cruel- ferocious in battle protecting my Bharat Maa, yes of course. But no needless cruelty. Josh rakho. Magar pyaar se, if that makes sense? I come from a long line of military people, starting with my Great Grandfather (on my father's side) who was Commander of the State Forces of Rewa, My Grandfather (ICS, first ever Desi to be DC of Delhi, Lahore, Shimla - fought in WW1) my father (Indian Naval Officer). I never knew my grandfather or great - grandfather. The *WORST* swear I heard my *father* use was, in Hindi/Punjabi, 'haraamzada' and in English was 'bloody bastard'. He was such an old-school gentleman.

But I do love to read military leadership skills. Once I read about an Indian Army soldier named Oraon and his exploits in the Loc, despite such a brave soldier he is so calm and composed. Coming to the video of this particular officer, I think this is the first time I have seen an officer of armed forces swearing. Never seen that happening before. Thank you for your service. Jai Hind. (While I write this an IAF AN32 wheezes pass my rented home in jorhat possibly less than 500 feet in altitude. Too much noise.)
