Based on the context of Kid saying this after getting a copy of the Road Ponoglyph and also judging from Robin's reaction I feel it was implied that this mystery man can read Ponoglyphs. I believe the man with the burned scar is a survivor of Ohara. I would guess potentially Robin's father returning to Ohara right after the Buster Call set the island on fire, which explains how he got a burn scar. He also may know how to read Ponoglyphs.

Kuzan makes the most sense to me. He's one of the most powerful characters in the series and he's just out there walking around (hence needing to find him). We don't know his motivations, his loyalties, or what he knows. We're also heading into Blackbeard soon and Kuzan is allied with that crew. It'd make more sense that a former Admiral would have the answers Kid seeks than a fellow Supernova

I think its most likely a previously unknown character, the mystery of the name implies its someone we haven't been introduced to yet. Also I think it has to be someone who can read poneglyphs like a survivor of Ohara (this is suggested by the face robin makes when kind mentions them). It would make sense that since Kid now has some poneglyph rubbings , he would need to go after someone that can translate them next.

Steal my theory if you want : I think the man marked by flames would be a survivor of Ohara. Kidd only started memtionning that man once he got poneglyff scriptures, meaning that the moment he needed that individual was the moment he got scriptures. It would also make sense for it to be an ohara survivor since Law looked like he knew something about it. If the only person that could read poneglyffs was really just Robin then Kidd and Law would've already tried to get something from her. Finally, the way Kidd bragged about knowing a person that Luffy didn't sounds like he was saying "Yeah Luffy! You aren't the only one who knows someone that can read ancient letters!"

Then based off Wano’s ending all 3 split up with Law saying that he is headed on the fastest route to one piece-Fullaled/BB (I don’t trust Law at all, 333vil just dropped a crazy theory on him being the 10th captain) Kidd wanted to go search for man marked by flames and my theory for that would be Loki and Elbaf, so many theories have Oars/a Giant as Joy Boy so Loki/Elbaf having info on One Piece makes perfect sense. And the 3rd island depicted Vira, a once peaceful town now filled with coup’s (Bartie is later shown burning Shank’s flag in a peaceful looking town, the 2 villagers were shocked. That also is a coup, or removal of government/ruling power). Shanks will be headed there and I believe that he and Luffy will get that reunion based on Straw Hats being on that path to Vira. I also seen another post where Oda named important islands up til Lode Star which sort of supports my wild theories. Very high percent chance I am wrong lol just my guesses/thoughts

I still like the theory that Caribou is actually the former Mr 10, and works for Crocodile. After all Crossguild hunts Marines, and that's exactly what Caribou did as well. Crocodile was also very interested in Ancient Weapons, and so is Caribou. Mr 10 is never seen in the series, but the art we have of Mr 10 has a very similar expression to Caribou's. I also think that having Buggy get information about / access to Ancient Weapons is a very easy way to take this joke Yonko and make him genuinely relevant and tied into the main story. I think it makes more sense than Blackbeard too, since Blackbeard has shown a large focus on obtaining a monopoly on Devil Fruits, not on finding Ancient Weapons.

The main thing that makes me think it isnt aokiji is that they gave him a new name. Surely kid knows who aokiji is and knows of his fight with akainu. It feels weird to give a character like that a new name. I think its probably just a new character entirely from the underground black market area. I think Dragon is a candidate that isn’t considered enough. That mark on his face could easily be some sort of brand mark, and he would certainly have valuable information about the world at large. Law and Robins reactions would make a lot of sense after hearing the name, since they know that he’s Luffys father. Blackbeard attacked Dragons base at one point, and at the time we assumed that it was for devil fruits or even just revenge for Burgess, but him doing it because Dragon is holding some sort of crucial information almost makes too much sense in the context we have now.

I think it's mihawk, his eyes the name of the chapter in which he was introduced, they were whirlpools when they talked about him destroying don kried fleet, he got a black boat, he is a wg affiliates, he challenged luffy and talked about why he specifically could become the pk etc. Luffy himself is weak against swordsman, he can't beat him but zoro can. We also know shanks who is still searching the op challenged him at multiple instances (but never won). It would explain why he don't like shanks, he thought he could but ultimately gave up.

I would say that it is urouge, because of his connection with sky island. Plus it would be the easiest way to bring enel back. And it will make the most sense because urouge had a connection to Hawkin. And because Hawkins had a alliance with kid, kid found out about him. I would think it's something to do with urouge knowing where the road polygliff is.

I want to believe the man with burn scar is an ex-world government official or Navy-man. Maybe a survivor of God valley fight on WG side, it gives motivation for them to take the poneglyph off Fish-Man Island, because it hinders pirates from getting close to One Piece, and it also gives reason for them to hide away from Pirates. My theory is that maybe the burn scar man was a Sailor from the navy at the time of God Valley incident. It gives motivation for Xebec to want to show up at god Valley. And since they survive the god valley incident, they went into hiding with the trauma of seeing wiped off the map.
