I sure prefer this kind of filler episodes every now and then instead of the Toei pacing practices to adapt less than 1 manga chapter into 1 anime chapter (reaction shots, excesive flashbacks, repeat of the same scenes, etc.). They could animate one of the many cover stories and IMO it would be incredible. Sadly they did tried to do this once with Buggy' and Koby's cover stories.. The ratings from the Japanese viewers where so low because Luffy wasn't on it that Toei didn't attempted to repeat doing them again. A big shame.

I wouldn't be surprised if Beckman has Conqueror's Haki. Rayleigh, Zoro, Ace, and Katakuri all have/had it so I don't see any reason why the second in command of the Red Hair pirates wouldn't have it as well. If anything I was more surprised that King didn't have it as well since it seems like a trend for powerful commanders to be using it alongside their captains.

In Elegia in the present… that skeleton thing in the forefront was the bird that came from the egg they had aboard the ship!!! The bird may have had the ability to burn the place down, hence why Shanks was blamed… I wonder why Uta stayed. I think to “create peace” with her music to balance Shanks’ actions in the past at Elegia, and his current conquest. She may feel partly to blame, and maybe in reality is FULLY to blame.

The romance dawn art style and the nostalgia back to paradise is such a great thing. I could watch these kinds of episodes for hours. When there was no pressure on becoming a yonko, just treasure hunting with your crew and exploring new islands and myths. Now the freedom of exploring and adventure is gone. Its all political now.

It seems to be a pattern that all emperors have at least one person on there crew, or in Kaido's case on lock down, with Conqueror's. Law and Kid would have messed up that dynamic. It's almost as if it's a prerequisite to be a conqueror amongst conquerors.

i always knew/had a feeling that benn beckman would be a conqueror's user with the trends between the roger pirates, red hair pirates and straw hats. all the vice captains are/will be relative in power to the captain and zoro and rayleigh were confirmed to have conqueror's so why not benn. roger, shanks and luffy are similar and so are rayleigh, beckman and zoro. can't wait to see the movie, and i can't wait for shanks and luffy to duel it out one day. i don't think "evil shanks" will happen. yasopp and usopp need to have a talk and i think benn beckman and zoro will get along well. maybe the movie changes my mind though.
