I loved how (besides his creed) Pedro's acting showed why he wears the helmet. I should note, that when Mando repeats Gideon's words back to him, he makes one important difference. Gideon said "it." Mando said "he." One small change that completely changes the entire context.
@anthonyyoutubefan75674 жыл бұрын
Because, to Gideon, The Child is, "an asset"...a conduit...a means to an ultimate end...a thing...nothing more. To Din Djarin, Grogu is an embodiment of his, "Hope"....and his Soul. The Mandalorian was, to an extent, dead inside, before encountering his bounty. Within that little more than a year's time, he's been "awakened" to many things, physically, psychologically, and spiritually. The official unmasking, was Din Djarin's bearing of his true self to the world and the galaxy. He'll never be the same after this moment. He may wear the helmet, but it won't wear him anymore...

Greg I think that Din is re-evaluating his beliefs in the ways of Deathwatch due to he removed the helmet and showing his face to Mayfield. During this season, Din met Bo-Katan and Boba Fett who had their helmets removed in front of others are still Mandalorians. But I see a conflict brewing if his covert or clan knows that he violated the ancient ways in which they following themselves. I think that his saving grace is Woman Armorer (Emily Swallow) whom sent him on his quest would give him a pass.
@iamnotaweebiswear89404 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I am sure the armorer would give him a pass as it was his duty to protect the child at all costs. Plus him finding out his group was a group of religious extremists could really make him realize if he truly wants to follow what he truly believes in. Would love to see a plotline of him trying to find out more about the clan he was apart of as he struggles with his beliefs. I honestly think the mandalorian is a fucking masterpiece of television.

Why do people(not just you guys) keep saying Boba Fett's armor has been polished? Do they not understand the concept of paint? You can't polish a worn away paint or a powder coat. Always loved Bill Burr as a comedian, but I honestly never thought much of the idea of him as an actor in dramatic scenes, but he nailed it. Great redemption arc.

Grogu being face down in the Background is Referential to not only to his Absence in this episode but the philosophy of his fringed pshycological framework following his constant cycle of compatoriate attachment and Abandonment Very nice touch John and Gregg

I have to be honest. When I heard that they were going to be doing a series about a Mandalorian, I was like " fuck that, I want Obi Wan" This series is one of the most kick ass STAR WARS Stories ever. When I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Jones Favreu is my hero and the saviour of the Franchise this is Storytelling 101
