The actor who plays the Jedi that saves Grogu is Ahmed Best, he played Jar Jar Binks in the prequels lol. Kelleran Beq is also an existing character in canon(he runs a Jedi younglings challenge show that nobody’s watches but still), he’s like a teacher Jedi. Having him to save Grogu fits perfectly in the story, and I’m so happy that Ahmed gets his bad ass moments with two lightsabers. He deserves so much after what he went through back in the prequel days.

Ahmed Best not only voiced/performed Jar Jar Binks, but he was also the host of a Star Wars themed "Legend of the hidden temple"-esque gameshow, while hosting he played a character called Master Kelleran Beq. The reality show can be kinda considered cannon since the lore of the show is that the contestants are padawans going through a training course and the host is a Master overseeing their training, and he is now apparently official cannon. It's a pretty wholesome form of fan-service, and its pretty great for Ahmed to get some onscreen badassery, since people were so vocal with how much they hated Jar Jar back in the day.

@foxyazure4272
@foxyazure4272 Жыл бұрын
I agree about how Bo Katan is beginning to appreciate the culture of Mandalorians more by experiencing a very traditional form of it's history. She's always had a very political approach to her desire to rule and now is seeing that there is also a spiritual side of her peoples customs. She spoke in the last episode about when she took the Creed in ceremony as a child in a very indignant fashion, regarding them as theater for the masses. But when she mentioned her father dying while defending Mandalore, he responded "This is The Way" as a sign of respect for him and it surprised her. The phrase takes on many different meanings throughout the last few episodes, Din to Bo "Your father was a great warrior", Din to Paz "We are family" and now the Armorer to Bo it takes an almost prophetic tone of "You were meant to find the Mythosaur". Coupled with the fact that Bo wielded the Darksaber with ease when she fought to save Din on Mandalore, great things are in store for her as she learns what it truly mean to be THE Mandalore.

FYI, Bad Batch, being Clone Wars spin-off, begins during/immediately after the end of the Clone Wars. Star Wars:Rebels begins 14 years after the Empire was founded, which is set at 5 BBY(5 years Before the Battle of Yavin shown in Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope). So Bad Batch takes place several years before Rebels, BUT since Bad Batch is still airing, it wouldn't hurt to start watching Rebels first. Actually, you should watch Rebels first, because it's connected to live-action shows like The Mandalorian.

15:38 That's a far darker story. The Jedi and Republic forces under the Jedi leader Revan who fought the Mandalorians during the Mandalorian Wars started using shifty tactics to sap and weaken the Mandalorians' strength, fortifying planets of great importance while ambushing and slowly battering down the Mandalorians' strength and fighting power, luring them into battles where the Mandos would get their highs by fighting, but then get their candy asses whooped by superior numbers and firepower. At the end, the Jedi lured the Mandalorians to a deserted Sith world named Malachor V, and the Mandalorians took the bait and attacked. Revan then activated a WMD that killed most of the Mandalorians and a good chunk of their own guys, mostly guys who were more loyal to the Republic or the Jedi code than they were to Revan. Then Revan fell to the Dark Side and that opened another can of worms...........

"Is Rebels before Bad Batch?" No it isn't. Bad Batch directly follows after Clone Wars / Episode 3 and Rebels is around the same time as Andor a few years before the Original Trilogy.

I'm insanely happy that they started Rebels. It'll take a bit, even if they watch two episodes per week, so they may not have enough time to catch up before Ahsoka, but hopefully they'll wait until after Rebels. There's gonna be some huge spoilers for the end of Rebels if they don't wait to finish it first.

Was that Dave Bautista playing the kids father? Kinda sounded like him. Looked right size-wise also. No mentions in the credits though.

She's definitely not rolling her eyes and seems to be rediscovering her culture like Rana and Marketa is saying. They have been laying those breadcrumbs to her ascension to leadership and showing her living in a castle alone feeling loss to now...

Perhaps married mandalorians can take off their helmets around each other, as when you're married you kind of become the same person. I don't know, it's a bit of a reach but the idea of the helmets staying on is just too silly for me lol.
