Hey! I've really enjoyed review of this issue, so am looking forward to see more AX issues. The cover is extremely pretty, Sakabashira Imiri's imagination and work with colors is spot on! :)

AX is a very interesting magazine to look at, especially if you love Garo! It’s always cool to see how it compares, being both its spiritual successor but its own magazine as well. Sakabashira is always an amazing artist, I have his Box Man manga that I haven’t read yet (available in English). I recorded another AX video so expect that in the next few weeks :)

In the mid 90s, Fantagraphics released Sake Jock and it blew my mind, especially Sakabashira Imiri's story featuring that cyclopic cat character. I still have and cherish Sake Jock and always wanted more issues. Fortunately, collections such as Underground Comics Japan and Secret Comics Japan were released soon after. Some Years back, Top Shelf published an Ax collection in English, but I never picked it up. Another great episode, FC. Thank you.

Those anthologies are amazing but I don’t have any of them haha. I especially love Usamaru Furuya’s ‘Palepoli’ being included in Secret Comics Japan since it’s a personal favourite of mine. I really wish the Ax collection went ahead with a second volume, it’s such a unique and special manga to have
