My mom and dad met at a USO dance; he was temporary in her hometown for Air Force pilot training. Many years later when kids and dad‘s time in the military change the dynamic of their relationship, this is one of the few songs I ever remember them dancing to in our time in Germany in the 1950s. Great song, great singer, timeless in fact. 👍💙💙 great cover.

They played this song in the British comedy Are You Being Served. They had an excellent cast on that show. It had me in stitches. It is a good song.

I don't think Edith ever actually sang this (it's mostly in English). The only clip I've heard on here that claims to be EP is actually TMT anyway.

@@G6JPGI was just looking up what was happening in the world on the day I was born in march 77 and this song came up as the number 1 that day. I love it and it's wonderful to think that my Mother was probably listening to this around the time I was born.
