WOW, the sidewinder. I have only ever been familiar with the air to air sidewinder missile, but that description tells me now why they called, and still call, the missile (the AIM9x) the sidewinder!!! I suppose it creeps up on the enemy aircraft in the same way! Thanks for that extremely good description Janice!!
