@WasabiCars yea Daniel, theyre hard to find. I was looking for a set for my 86 Turbo at one point and gave up. All I could find was a single wheel on Yahoo auctions Japan. So I went Panasport G7 C5C instead..... damn..... now I miss my old car. 😢 lol

Odyssey's are common in the states. I've seen several local builds alone. The most famous is the Bishimoto with 1000hp.

Japan moves on from older cars such as the Odyssey in favor of the newer stuff. So, I've seen lowered, VIP-influenced, newer Odysseys. Of the older one shown in the video; would be hard pressed to see one every couple of months

Fantastic event by the looks of it, lots of quality cars. R33 is my favorite generation. My first trip back in 2014 I got to start a V-Spec up and sit in it at a small dealership outside Tokyo. It was in really nice original condition and had 91,000km and he wanted 1,280,000 yen, which at the time was right around $12,000 us. I knew that would be the only time I could have afforded it, but it wasn't yet legal to import and I had nowhere to store it. I was right, now that car would be selling here for $60,000.

You kept the best for last! That KE70 Sprinter is awesome and had much more appeal to me than ask the other awesome cars in this video. Were those hubcaps originally for this Sprinter? They also feature on the Carina Jeune AA60 and are made of polyurethane for extra sturdiness as the Jeune was aimed towards young female drivers. Perhaps this SE was also a special meant for elderly drivers? 😅

Oh, you know I know it was the bast car of the day. I got so excited when I saw it. I have to rely on Wikipedia for info, but it seems this car that Sprinter was an AE70, with the engine being a 3A-U (because it's a 1.5). Yes, saw those Sprinter hubcaps on a 2 door. Also have the same stylized 'S' that's impressed upon the headlight glass.

@@wasabicars thanks! I guess Toyota just reused the Sprinter design ion the Carina or vice versa. It is also interesting to see the four door Sprinter had a different body as the four door Corolla. Even the rear doors are different! Cool to see someone in Japan still cares about it!
