Absolutely fire map, anyone who dislikes it only dislike it because it takes a little skill, the tighter maps were always better than the ones with big open areas, this map wasn't a punishment it was a blessing

This is my favorite map ever. I love the risk in design and no other map plays like it. Some people are too quick to not give it a chance because of that. Good job covering it :)

Im a huge fan of this map as well, loved the spring traps! They were amazing for flinging yourself into tight spots or to fling you across the gaps in the map.

Die Rise was my favorite zombies map back in the bo2 days. I remember my friend an I getting to round 45 on split screen. Took us like 3-4 hours lol Good times

The only real downside of Die Rise was the wonder weapon (which would have been amazing on any other map). They gave us a wonder weapon that made the ground slick on the one map where fall damage was a threat

I always liked die rise, something about the way the map looks and how fun it was to use sliquifier will always be one of my favorite childhood memories

I disagree. I think there are some inherent design flaws. Obviously I haven’t played it in forever because when black ops two came out. I was a kid. I think I was 15 or something. And I did not like it. I didn’t like the random elevators perks thought most of my deaths were cheap But Maybe if I pick it up again and play it I might have a different opinion because that seems to be the case with a lot of games that I didn’t like now that I’m older. I enjoy them more

Facts nothing but skill issue, if you can't play on tighter maps that require a bit of finesse you ain't good at zombies, it's not hard to find big open spaces and circle but there isn't much space for that on this map, skill is 100% the reason ppl hate the map

This is the only zombies map where I simply gave up before memorizing the layout in solo. I played the map twice in co-op, but that was only because I thought I was playing a different map and my teammates bait and switched me into playing this one instead. It was tolerable in co-op as only a fraction of the zombies come after you when compared to solo.

Die rise was my first ever dlc map. Found it sick af with how you had to traverse the map n just the overall vibe of it. I still got love for it to this day

22:29 reincarnation is a core belief in Buddhism. This is actually where we get the idea of karma. Buddhists believe that your karma directly controls what realm of life you reincarnate into after death. If you had bad karma you'll be reincarnated into a lower realm like the animal realm ( you'll reincarnate as an animal or insect). Good karma and you might become a demigod in your next life. The cycle of reincarnation is ended when one reaches Nirvana. This is actually somewhat related to the Black ops 2 Zombies storyline as if you do all of Maxis quests all of richtofen's bad karma catches up to him and he reincarnates as a zombie (which im guessing would be the hell realm) meanwhile maxis seemingly attains nirvana transcending physical life entirely.

I love die rise. No i am not joking. It was my first map to get to round 100 and this automatically reserved a spot on my heart for it. Had a lot of funny moments on this map and the Stuhlinger easter egg where zombies start to talk is one of my alltime favorites and still gives me goosebumps today :D

This map with friends on a weekend night back then was prime 😂 Almost every round someone missed a jump, got smashed by an elevator or died mysteriously bcs there was some purple liquid on the floor which was a little bit slippery 🫣😂

I’m terrible at zombies. I’m only good at simple maps like Kino and Der Riese. But I found Die Rise really nice on solo. I think I hit around round 40 which is good for me. 2 great training spots too. The large upside down room and the room with the hole in the ground.

I think Moon is the most decisive map. Die Rise and Moon are my two favorite maps of all time. But if someone called Die Rise a bad map I wouldnt argue, however I would if they called Moon a bad map

I love Die Rise. Its hilarious how tough playing this map is for most people. Dont jump when being slapped by a zombie. Dont jump when you're at the end of your stamina. Many great training spots in die rise. Indeed i love the Map. Its a good chance i feel your favorite bo2 map is trash. Yall hate die rise and love buried. 😂 that map is lame af, id rather play tranzit. If bus depot had perks and pap id rather play in that small area than buried.
