"So was my mum, but she didn't crow about it as loud as you." 😂 Scrum might be one of the funniest charachters of the franchise.
@GeneChang-vf3ps5 жыл бұрын
Soff • These pirates thought that “horologist” means “whore” ,so this was the reason why this scene was so funny. And also, horologist means the person who study about time. And Scrum said “So my mom always looked at the clock.” Because his mom was a prostitute so she had to wait until her client had finished.

Scrum is an underrated side character. He made this scene 10 times funnier than it had the right to be. I've always liked how Jack's crew was different from others though in the sense they'd at least try to not be judgemental of women and whatnot. With all the whole "bad luck to have a lady aboard" and other stuff, not to mention well, darker things the series never got into. Penelope Cruz was kept alive for blood relation only so that one really doesn't count, plus 4 sucked horribly anyway, except for the mermaids and barbossa's ending. 5 was pretty epic and people saying it retconned anything but the compass just don't have the capacity to pay attention truthfully and thus missed out on a really solid sequel that feels more like and looks way more like the original trilogy in every way-hope a 6th can keep this going.

Just because they don't know the word astronomy doesn't mean they don't use the stars to navigate; they all most likely grew up poor and never had the chance to go to school, so their knowledge only went as far as practicality and common sense went. You know the movies so good you can't tell how old they actually are and when you check you're like "woah"

When I saw this in the cinema, it was just me and a bunch of mums with their kids so I was pissing myself laughing while the mums tittered a bit and the kids were all 'What's funny?'

Carina: The map is there. *points up* *Everyone looks up* Jack: Where? Marty: On the tip of your finger? This shows how stupid most people can be, even in real life. Someone shows you where something is and you just look at where they’re pointing asking “where?” 😂🤣😂

For a movie that didn’t hold a light to the previous movies, this scene really is up there amongst the top scenes in all the movies

This is the most memorable part of the movie IMO.

Literally love how Jack has virtually no real hold over either of them because you know Will was gonna come after Jack's ass if he actually threw his son overboard. But Carina didn't know that so she caved.
