The Mario Teaches Typing 2 Super Show! (Cutscene Compilation) - NintendoComplete

A compilation of cut-scene video clips from Interplay's 1996 PC title, Mario Teaches Typing 2.
The clips are all conveniently stored as (MS Video 1 encoded) AVI clips in an easily accessible directory from the CD. I scaled and filtered them and then put them together into a bizarre caricature of a Mario cartoon. I've also included the infamous floating and talking Mario head clips at the end.

The reason why Mario gave us that look at 1:42 was because he was shocked of when the magical type writter exploded and oh the stuff on Mario, that was dust from the self destruct of the magical type writter.

I'll start to think of this as "MarioHead", a completely separate character who was sealed in a parallel dimension. MarioHead attracts more attention but the 2D "art" is much, much worse and deserving of scorn. Such incredibly cheap design, coloring and animation (that color-cycling for the running water, I last saw it in some old adventure games and it was done much better) belongs more to low-grade shareware games of the early 1990s and it's not something you'd expect from an officially licensed Mario game. Nintendo obviously didn't care as long as they got the money.

It bothers me what you say about Nintendo not caring. Nintendo had nothing to do with this, or any the other abominations like Hotel Mario and Mario Is Missing, except for licensing the characters. The entire game was developed by independent companies, with Nintendo "checking in on them" every so often. These games are also part of the reason Nintendo doesn't license their characters so willingly today
