The Mark & Susan Story - ER

One of my favorite things about ER was Mark and Susan's relationship development, so I just had to make a video depicting their story! I love their growth and think they're beyond adorable together. When Susan left in mid-season 3, my heart broke into a million pieces and I'm still healing!

ER was possibly the best drama series i ever watched. It had some of the most lovable characters in tv history. The original 3 series were fucking mint. I once worked as a porter in the A&E of a Manchester hospital and i know the score although it was not as mad as ER!!.. i also lived just outside Chicago in the late 90s... belting time in my life. Anyway them 6 actors in the original were all brilliant... top top show

If Sherry Stringfield didn't leave ER the first time she would've probably ended up with Mark. When she returned he was already in a committed relationship with Corday so they missed their window on that. I watched ER all the way through its run so I was a fan of the show and not just some fanboy of the early seasons like some of the people on the internet.

I stopped watching E.R on season 3 episode 8, thats the episode when Susan left Mark at train station. After that i was not interested in watching E.R anymore. Thank you for posting this video, these moments of their love will last forever.

I was in film school and beginning of my career when ER was on. I never thoroughly appreciated how insanely good this series, the writing, storylines and characters were, until 2024!!!.....John Wells with Michael Crighton made one helluva series to get addicted too....

A thought that occurred to me: a close friendship that doesn't rush into a marriage, that takes its time, that sees ups and downs and loss and gain. Maybe it ends up a marriage with a child and a devastating goodbye. Maybe it falls apart. Maybe Elizabeth is Mark's close friend that finds the cancer returning.
