Es cómico, antes durante mucho tiempo deseaba poder escucharlos en vivo ya que los conocí en tiempos donde ya no existían como grupo y ahora... Justo con la carta de mi madre y los recuerdos dando vueltas sin parar para luego recibir notificación de que han sacado una canción nueva... Me encanta la nueva manera de componer de los Volta. Es como si hubieran condensado todas sus ideas instrumentales y líricas de una forma más concisa. Desde Octahedron ya estaban buscando una mayor suavidad melódica, y en Noctourniquet evolucionaron un sonido más eléctrico y sintético. Aquí se resume esa búsqueda. La cantidad de arreglos que hay detrás de la voz hacen que uno quiera escuchar este track una y otra vez, para descubrir su imaginario. ♥

Heavy, and tranquil lyrics. As good as the instrumentals are, Cedric, kills it. Minimal time based effects, just clear up-front vocals. I love the new direction. It's a natural transition in comparison to Omar's single discography. Gives me Bosnian Rainbows meets Copernicus vibes.

I've been obsessed since it dropped 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷 They took a song about a codependent, unhealthy relationship and they used it as metaphor for PR and the US. I've loved them since I first heard The Widow and from there discovered At the Drive-In and their other music and projects. I will always love and support them and will never stop! I genuinely love this song though, no cap. People can hate all they want, this song and project means the world to their Puerto Rican and Latino fans.
