@@blablabla2076 bruh, imagine being this ignorant. How long was this tour? How many nights in a row had he been singing full blast for hours on end? For how many weeks or months in a row? Do this, pack everything into a shitty van, drive for 18 hours straight, and then do it again, for 3-12 months straight and lemme know how your voice holds up after the first couple shows

0:30 - Bad Voice crack 1:03, 1:05, 1:22, 1:45, 3:04 - Straining to hit notes at the top of his range He did well otherwise, but it's no wonder he switched to using falsetto more often for the high notes.

Embrace the weird. It's psych rock. It's supposed to be weird and trippy and crazy. That's kinda the point.
@jacobbharrat71155 жыл бұрын
Honestly I think you guys are missing the point. If bands simply recreate what they do in the album then there is no point in seeing them live. Granted he’s fucked up as hell off of drugs at the time but each musician in this band (at the time) put a different vibe to their songs while playing it live. Much like Chris Cornell with his comparisons to studio and live vocals, what Chris and Cendric do is not easy. Don’t watch these for the studio song, watch them for the experience. If possible, try and watch at the drive in live videos too because they do serve as a good prequel to The Mars Volta. Sorry for the rant, but each of these guys are fantastic in their own way. P.S. not every show is great, sometimes it could be very bad (Big Day Out, which I actually still really enjoy), but I would much rather take chances to do something different then to depend on consistency. At least when it comes to music.

yes, I think he would be more sucessful live if he did not take this kind of things.. LSD make him to do these musics.. But Live it sucks.. :(

Yeah not Lsd. Pretty sure Cedric was into heroin. Surprisingly most artists that make crazy psychedlic music dont like acid and are either sober or into real hard shit.

what would this band be like if they had a better singer? it'd be incredible. not that this singer is bad, but compared to the other musicians in the group, it feels like he doesn't belong. that's just me. erp.
@DanceOfTheDawn59635 жыл бұрын
MrDellano he’s an amazing vocalist in the studio but he’s too fucked up on acid to do it that well live. The studio version of this song has the most amazing vocals I’ve ever heard
