Easily the most extraordinary battyman's artist. Even more so in a way than Neal because it made reading the stories more approachable. The stylistic way Neal was working was great but it seemed like a throwback to a different era. Not to say Neal wasn't a complete genius 😂😅😮

While I do like Marshall Rogers, there's a certain "stiffness" to his work. What a good inker like Terry Austin would do is remove some of that stiffness from the feel. Max Allan Collins is somewhat interesting, but not really my cup of tea. With his grittier realism, he's more like a can of Jolt Cola! I don't need to experience that too often.

Gah. Modesty Blaise is pronounced "blaze" despite the spelling. There's a rather notorious film adaptation floating around youtube if you want proof. It does a tremendous disservice to the character but does get her name right. Not much else, though. Decent spy spoof if you can get past that aspect of it, though.
