At 60 years old, I’m just amazed how this music transports me back in time to my youthful days when it seems I didn’t have a care in the world. Memories of great times with great friends. I have no idea where the hell the time went since then. But I’m sure glad I lived thru that period with MTB. Timeless music- these boys were (and still are) the best! See you soon Toy, Tommy and George. RIP. Peace!

It’s August 2020 I turn 60 this coming December Sitting here at my desk at work listening to MTB on a Bluetooth wondering just where in the hell those care free days of my youth went ?? God damn I miss these guys ! Blue tooth speakers don’t have enough volume to do MTB music justice !! Maybe it’s lunch time and I can crank it up in my truck !!!

Toy's steel break from about 3:04 to 4:56 (especially the part around 4:30) is some of the prettiest steel playing I've ever heard. Bought this on vinyl when it first came out and after 40 years, it never gets old.

Saw them three times. Best sounding "stadium rock" band ever. And I saw them with the Allman Bros and Joe Walsh in Texas Stadium...😂

I saw them just once, in a little tiny country bar called In Cahoots, in Fullerton CA... about 30 to 35 years ago... Maybe about 200 people in the place. It was FANTASTIC!!!

Over Carolina dreams? Fire on the mountain? Long hard drive? Let's not rate albums. Just say one of the many good they did. Damn tenth? Dedicated? Man!!? Saw these guys so many times couldn't count in seventies. They put out 1 or 2 albums a year. Tour every one. Great experience. Not a phony show. They played the music. Loved their stuff. To me, the pros. Good.
