Yeah, the Shredmaster does suit smaller combos/brighter amps better. I had one years ago and into my old Super Bass it simply lacked high end and was quite muddy. Incredible with the right amp though and also it changes a lot with guitars as well, try it with some high output humbuckers and it’ll be closer to its name! The Guv’nor/Drivemaster is still one of greatest pedals I’ve ever heard. So good to see them all back in production!

Hahaha hvala ti! I found the Drive Master to be a little more refined than the Guv’nor but the difference is minimal. The Blues Breaker does amazing low gain flavouring but if you would set the gain higher a Guv’nor or Drive Master could do that job just fine with the gain set low.

These are going to deeply upset the dealers trying to get outrageous sums for originals on resale sites. Meanwhile I’ll be hanging onto my original Drive and Shred Masters. Btw the Contour counterintuitively seems to give a scooped sound when round to the right.

Man I want that Blues Breaker pedal bad. I just can't get behind that price. I know the old ones are way more but $250 for it is still kind of steep. Maybe I'm just cheap IDK. They all sound great but I would bet Sasha can make almost anything sound great

Get the unobtanium and then the Blue breaker. I have the unobtanium and it’s such a versatile pedal I can get many tones with. I foresee the unobtanium will be something unobtainable in many years to come. 😅

It is and I hate it. My car was totalled after the catalytic converter was stolen. Had to buy a new one. So I had to let go of some gear to raise funds unfortunately. I will get another as soon as I can. Because I MISS THAT AMP
