In 1994 Universal Studios made a deal with Marvel Comics that gave them the theme park rights to their endless roster of super heroes and villains, allowing them to create Marvel Superhero Island at Islands of Adventure. But then Disney bought Marvel in 2009, which gave them full control to do whatever they want with some of the world's most popular characters...so how come there aren't a million Marvel rides at Walt Disney World? In this video I'm gonna do my best to explain to you one of the most interesting bits of theme park politics: The Marvel Contract. Wachow!
