Those hidden ornaments and garlands are so well done and creative! Thanks for pointing them out and including all the historic footage of the parks. It makes me want to go to the parks and see them myself! You mentioned I Love Lucy's "Oscar" awards but I think they would have been Emmy Awards since it was tv and not movies. My wife was in the parks before thanksgiving and she saw a guy that looked like you with a Universal Cast Member badge that said Vincent who was leading a small tour group. That had to be you, right? We've enjoyed your videos and in-depth knowledge but didnt know you were an employee....makes sense though!

Dude, Kongfrontation was one of my favorite rides. I was genuinely scared waiting in the queue as a kid. Thankfully I got to ride it with my family and then again a little bit older when we went there on a school trip. I genuinely miss rides that have this level of fear for kids lol.

The crowd makes a big difference also in the park experience. Japan-well behaved, well mannered crowds. USA-obnoxious adults, out of control kids, screaming at every corner of the park.

More additions wouldn't be bad for Marvel's business technically but Disney still wouldn't let them make another big ride. Because they don't want to give Universal any edge- it's not bas for Universal, it's bad for Disney. and Universal isn't going to want to try to argue with their 'no' because nobody wants to get into a legal battle if they don't have to, especially with Disney.

This is unfair comparison! Because Universal Studio has almost US contents only, but USJ has US contents and Japanese Contents!

I lived in Florida and now live in Tokyo. USJ definitely way better than USF in Orlando.

Monsters unchained is like the one in Dubai... The theme park is WB theme park... they will be getting a big Harry Potter theme park there as well with different rides and interactions compared to Universal Studios...

USF/IOA are my home parks and if you're just comparing USF vs USJ, USJ wins because of Flying Dinosaur, Hollywood Dream, Super Mario World, and for having the last remaining JAWS ride. However, they closed their Spiderman ride which knocks it down a couple of points. USF is bogged down by bad rides like F&F and Jimmy Fallon. Now if you're comparing IOA against USJ, it becomes a little more difficult to determine a winner because I think Velocicoaster is the best roller coaster I've ridden (out of about 70 so far) and Hagrid's, Hulk, and Spiderman carry the park, but again IOA has a few dead spots that USJ doesn't have, so USJ might win here too. Time will tell if Epic Universe becomes my new favorite Universal (and in general) theme park next year.

Getting rid of Back to the Future the Ride in any Universal park was a big mistake. I wish we could have kept one of them. Florida has ET, Japan has Jaws, but now none of them have BTTF. It should have been kept in at least one of the parks

Universal Studios Japan is obviously the better park. The one in Florida is horse shit.

But if you’re gonna pick one, I’m gonna say that the Japan park is better than that crap one in Florida

Previously, the soundstage where the Curious George attraction is now located used to be the attraction starring Woody Woodpecker called “Animation Celebration” before it closed down in 2017.
