Hello everyone and welcome back to Wartales! Today, the Marvelous Mercenaries continue their adventure exploring the snowy realm of Drombach County, full of combat, surprises, and some old faces. At 11:32, a forest encounter leads to the capturing of arguably the strongest beast in existence, and the GOAT officially joins the team at 26:10. The primary goal was to take down the Champion of Drombach, and Captain Fabe lead the team to victory against the wanted Smuggler at 1:21:39. The Company picked up a new friend after learning about their irreconcilable differences at 1:41:42 and met up with an old friend at 2:08:26. We might make a quick trade run next time to recuperate some of our expenses -- thanks for watching!

Also, I have extra comment for the algorithm, but I mainly wanted to ask for a fun idea: Most people don't seem to like the zealots one-handed hammer that keeps striking until it causes fever (increased stackable damage) on the enemy. I'm here to say I think it's neat. It keeps hitting until it gets the fever status, and I think there might be a cool combo with that. It stacks off all damage, so potentially getting 5 or more hits with, say , poison oil or something would be cool to see. Pair that with the belt accessory that guarantees the poison proc, and you've got someone taking easily multiple stacks of poison with added damage on top due to the fever. Plus, you can apply another oil (which idk of you can double stack poison oils, but that would be useful on not just this build but maybe a pugislist too). Make that hammer person super tanky too, and you can afford to disengage with the counterattack shield to do more damage and let them take hits from an archer with the more poison = more damage hat (or just put it on the hammer person themselves) so they can take damage from attacks of opportunity with the Bow skill everytime they move Or you could engage with weakening blow, activate a deflection, disengage so you take no damage, then attack again for as many hits as possible (also just a valid build by itself) Anyway, multiple build ideas here, another comment for the algorithm, have a fun day ma fweind 😊

@@DkKombo That's a pretty fun idea! I think the reason people dislike the Zealot hammer is due to its unpredictability. Personally, I wouldn't mind having one or two characters in my oversized Company that are RNG dependent, and the only real trick would be finding such a hammer at a decent level. Afaik, you cannot double stack any Oil, but I'd probably pair the poison oil with the burning oil for double the dots (if we're going full meme), percentage hp damage, or trigger attack of opportunity on hit. The latter might actually be occasionally insane if each strike rolls for an additional attack of opportunity. The dark gods of the algorithm thank you for your scientific suggestions!

Excuse me sir, but something that I've noticed going through your past wartales is that usually people have trouble on the mini games or the game crashing but you do not. Is it because of your system? I guarantee a lot of people would like to know since literally everyone I've seen this game has had trouble with it but you seem pretty well off. The only technical issues I've had with Wartales is the stuttering in combat when the game tries to display a super long movement path. It's been a very smooth experience for me otherwise, but I also have a pretty decent PC. My relevant specs are CPU - i9 12900K, GPU - RTX 4090, RAM - 32GB DDR5 3000Mhz, and my OS is Windows 11. Thanks for appeasing the dark gods of the algorithm.

Seems I have to correct my self about the number of enemies you will face in combat. I have found out that the ratio I previously mentioned is only for Adaptive mode. For region lock, it is somewhat determined when you first enter the region. My bad. Concerning the prisoner escaping, you need someone neaby that will reduce the chance to escape (a bear or wolf should be good). I know there is way to see the percent chance of escaping, I'll have to look into it. For picking the level 12 skill, you may want to choose the other choice, which allows you to choose additional skill from the previous ones. Drombach region does have the Dark Matter lying around. And those frigging Zealots are a god damm pain.

Ahhh, no worries! I'm not sure if I'll recklessly increase the size of my Company but I'll try and keep an open mind about it then. (: The only reason I don't have an animal next to the prisoner is because that negatively affects their loyalty, and I'm trying to convert what's-her-face in to being a Brewer at my Tavern of Redemption, lol. Are the Bravery skills just mediocre or is there another reason you suggest taking the other talent at level 12? Thankfully I don't particularly care about Gunbald's performance, but I want to be sure for the core team members.

@@FableheimChecked about prisoners, in the list of their stats, the last stat is escape ability showing percentage. Having two (doesn't appear any more than two makes a difference) add companions nearby will reduce the percentage 20% for each one. Having a manned Outpost is 10%. Not sure of any other factors. I presently don't have a human prisoner to check. The level 12 skill suggestion was from Skyen's guide. I went that way with all my level 13s. I did look at them, the one for rangers (must move first, then get to move again AFTER all your other units have taken their turn) and those equipped with a weapon and shield, do not seem very good. The other classes may be ok. You can only use Bravery from one companion once per round, so having a whole bunch with it, would be a waste. The Sepulcher in Drombach, you need to explore the tomb in the pirate DLC to get the code to access to it.

I had seen you encountering some of the same questions I had. Some I had stumbled upon (color of highlight), some from guides, some from needing more detailed information (like tombs and Sepulchers), some for the WTF do I have to do (Grinmeer) I had been going around to merchants trying to sell that Eel soup, like you. I to search in the discussions.
