Tony Shaloub may get an Emmy nomination for this scene. Pure brilliance.

The DP for this scene deserves a raise. This was set so well.

The whole scene resonated with me as I’m Abe’s age and am starting to wonder where the time has gone and questioning how I missed many things. The man who looked at his “stuff” and imagined his kids going through his precious collections. Life is short, pay attention and enjoy.

Thanks so much for uploading this scene... I felt like I was there, exquisite. Abe's reflection is such a representation of patriarchy, how man barely connect with their daughters. I hope he tales Miriam how he feels

Yeah the part about how he completely underestimated and discounted Midge. It made me weep. So profound. Please Down load again! So I can send it people!

All four of these men added such wonder to this scene. Theres something so profound about the times of self reflection, ones family, what's left behind when theyre gone, and the limited time you have before you go. What a truly amazing scene.

What really got me here is when he says "yes we teach, but foist". Society for long till today has been foisting as a form of teaching, which is why we have many people fearing failure due to it. 😢
