Literally brought tears to my eyes. I didn’t know the actor who played Jackie, Brian Tarantina, actually passed away. This is a wonderful, funny as hell show with some touching moments like this one.

Yeah, I kind of recall hearing about his passing at the time and making the connection; and then seeing this episode. They clearly wanted to pay some serious tribute to the actor, and they really nailed it.

Beautiful scene. A lot of people live their lives in the background and we think "Oh that's just a regular person, he doesn't have much going on. He is just regular". It's the regular ones that turn out to be the most interesting

Susie NAILED IT for all the "Jackies" of the world. Ok, well, the writers did, but Susie delivered those words with such feeling & force. ❤

This is so sad and well done but also, "Darla better be dead!" is one of the funniest lines in the whole show

For some reason "I didn't know Jackie could dance" is the line that hits me the hardest out of this whole thing. Alex Borstein is a master.

I cried when I watched it the first time. I cried when I just re-watched it so I could discuss it with a friend. Thank you for this. This scene alone deserves to be nominated for an Emmy Award. How many guys like Jackie have I known? I've been a bookseller. That should tell you. Also I was married to a guy who could "never catch a break" who died in 2016. This is brilliant, makers of Mrs. Maisel. And thank you Alex Borstein for your delivery and committment and all the swearing. Just like my late ex from Long Island could never stop swearing when he was emotional. Thank you.

Y'know some would rather write her off as just 'Lois from Family Guy' but Alex Borstein has such impeccable range, this scene was brilliant, heartfelt, and funny she did a great job and I think this is one of those scenes that should be in acting workshops on how to deliver a monologue

Really good actors are equally as comfortable in comedy roles as dramatic. Alex Borstein gets to be both in Mrs. Maisel.

Jackie's funeral was so sad. To see that he didnt have any friends or people he knew come to his funeral. Huge respect for Susie to bring his funeral to the next room, and what she said was heartbreaking. I was extremely close to crying, I love this show so much

Presumably had Brian Tarantina not died, they wouldn't have killed off the character of Jackie and wouldn't have written this funeral scene, but after he did this monologue was intended as much to remember Brian as it was for Jackie,

This is one of my favorite scenes from this season. I hope Alex gets an award for this monologue, it moved me to tears. I had to watch it twice because I really felt the emotion coming from her. "She better be dead." Gives me a little chuckle through the tears. What a great actress.

I never even felt when the tears started to roll. But when she said “he never caught a break, he never got ahead” I ugly cried. This was so heartfelt and sad and funny… it was absolutely perfect. Amy Sherman and Dan Palladino are the best writers of our time.

Great acting, Great Monologue, I know but can we for a second think about how Jackie’s death will forever be remembered by the people in that room. Susie was going to be what they remember when they think of that old lady! Jackie knew a good close friend was better than a bunch of mid people. Acting is great in my opinion when I start thinking about the world and how characters effect it.

They probably had no idea how to respond to a woman crashing the funeral and were probably stunned silent by her monologue.

Because Susie was lucky to crash one funeral filled with people who were not idiots and who realised that an empty funeral is a terrible thing.
