"I am sending you out as sheep amongst wolves; be as gentle as doves and as cunning as serpents". When you encounter a narcissist then you have to become more shrewd than they are. Not easy if you're an inexperienced empath but as a seasoned and experienced empath you will be streets ahead. And if you're really cunning, never tell them your truth which is that you know what they are. Do this at your peril. Always keep an iron fist and never forget that they would rather see you buried than admit who and what they are. This is why they keep secrets. They don't want you to discover their reality.

Unfortunately if you are that close to the narc, you can't hide much for long. They will test your loyalty and when you do what is right and proper, they will see it. Plus they are never really your friend even if you think they are. They are talking behind your back. So its impossible to be cunning for long. Better yet is to confront them and show that you see thru them. If they know you see them for who they are, they will attack you. So be ready with all the evidence that you have collected. These are very dangerous people and they live amongst us. They can snap at a moments notice.

At my age, and with my experience dealing with these people, I just walk away from them, and all of the people who believe them, it's futile to try to convince people otherwise. I had to deal with Evil siblings, and after my parents passed, I went no contact with them.. and that includes anyone related or not related to us who hangs out with them. People will eventually get stung by them, or maybe not, I just don't care...My life is way more peaceful. OF course, I like being alone in my own company...and that's the key that I had to find. If you are good with being alone, then none of these people can get to you.

She is describing what happened to me. I sustained prolonged narcissistic/demonic attack multiple times. Four sustained attacks in different decades. Whatever this vile and repugnant force is, it’s not a joke which is why I know in a soul deep way how fortunate I am to be alive… my god. To hear this laid bare like she has outlined is remarkable. She may be a ‘chosen sigma’ these are women who have survived seemingly unsurvivable attacks over sustained time periods. This is so good, Jill. Thank you. I learned this painfully over the years in various workplaces. The narcs, maybe 16% of the employees, exist at all levels. The CEO and upper management are often narcs. Sometimes, the custodial staff or data entry people come across as sweet and respectful, but it's a facade. Whatever level they are in, they get their flying monkeys to protect and support them. Some of the flying monkeys know that they are evil, too. Others are taken in by the narc's charms and really believe they must support the narc and smear the innocent. Some work cultures are far worse than others. When you find that you are isolated by evildoers, there's usually not much you can do but leave the company. It's very health-damaging to stay.

True narcissists do NOT self reflect to try and determine if they’re a narcissist or the problem. So just by the fact that you are doing that here, is evidence you are NOT a narcissist. And even if a narcissist did self reflect and determine they were a narcissist, or if they got the actual diagnosis, they wouldn’t care. They genuinely believe they are entitled to treat and abuse other people anyway they see fit. Now, I’m not saying you haven’t acquired some toxic behaviors that you possibly need to take a look at and correct, most of us who have been exposed long term to narcissistic abuse will be traumatized and many of the toxic and narcissistic behaviors can rub off on us, however if you are self reflecting and genuinely care if your behavior is toxic, and you are willing to change that behavior because it’s the right thing to do, then you are more than likely not a narcissist.
