Private security in the Philippines does a lot in the protection of the public whenever you are, be it at the mall, grocery stores, banks, schools and Universities, anywhere there are mass of people. Mass shootings are unheard of here, not like in the USA which claimed over 145 lives already early this year. There are more security guards that were killed than the regular police. They are the unsung heroes that gave their lives to protect others. Did it without much fanfare or egos, nor abusive or out of bounds in their performance. All this despite being gravely underpaid. So be thankful to all these security personnel for their dedications.
