I can't imagine how beautiful the malls are in the Philippines. Each one has its own unique style, and they all seem to compete to outdo each other with their decorations. As Christmas approaches, every city goes all out with festive displays. Even the main roads and side streets, where buses pass through, are adorned with Christmas decor. That’s what I remember-it's a feast for the eyes, with people soaking in the festive atmosphere everywhere they look.

Magandang araw, Kuya Kurt! The breathtaking autumn scenery, with its vivid colors, reminds me of how life is ever-changing. Though the leaves may fall, the promise of spring brings a new kind of beauty, reminding us that as long as there's life, there's hope. Your videos are a comforting reminder of the joys we've experienced and the hope that lies ahead. Thank you for that.❣

I think Christmas is special in the Philippines because, for most of the year, except for November and December, the weather is very hot. When the "ber" months arrive, you can feel the cool air, which is refreshing and relaxing. It’s a nice change. Seeing the Christmas decorations makes it even more exciting, as it reminds you that Christmas is coming, and you can feel the cheerful and happy atmosphere among the people.

I don't know if you have witnessed the version of Christmas from the 90s up to the early 2010s. I still remember when I traveled back and forth in Manila when I still lived in the province, some towns are heavily lit up with parols or lanterns, the beautiful ones, every house you see. Also, another reason why September is the start of the Christmas season is because it is during this month you will start feeling the cold weather which lasts until early March the following year.

It's perfectly fine to stumble over Tagalog words. I also find English pronunciation difficult, especially since I don't have anyone to practice speaking with. In Tagalog, there isn't a perfect word for "escalator," so it's commonly referred to as "escalator" as well.

Indeed! You are right!Malls here along the East Coast are now being 'repurposed' as medical offices, apartments, restaurant rows & even municipal government offices.Thank you Amazon! Anyhow, malls in Pinas are unique in their extravagance! Mall of Asia which seem to be a Pinas version, though smaller, of Mall of America in Minnesota is still very extravagant in its light displays! These heart warming displays & celebration of the Christmas season in malls across Pinas, despite their extravagance make us feel proud of Pinas in a way or another! Godbless & Godspeed!
