You probably have a better handle on Askin's power now, but mainly it he takes a substance into his body (blood, oxygen, water, spiritual pressure) and can decrease it's lethal dosage for his targets. Like if you drink a mega fuck ton of water, you get water poisoning, let's say that initially takes 10 cups of water, he can dile that down to half a cup for you to get that poisoning. IMO, when Yhwach says "Father". He means it as the "God" or "Creator". He also called Ichigo "Son", only because of his Quincy lineage. At least, that's my understanding of it.
