It will always have problems just because of the jarring of everything in the impact. Items will continue to fail until the day it is crushed. I've seen cars repaired here in the US that have no business back on the road. But crafty repair men have learned how to hide the damage and slip it through state inspection to get a rebuilt title. It is not the safety of future drivers this fan is talking about. Yes, you have great skills as a body technician, but the repair of this "totaled" car should NOT have been restored. Why? Because of the structural integrity of the frame members have been compromised via welding and bending, and re-straightening. Future reliability is questionable. In many countries resurrecting this vehicle form totaled status would be illegal. But it appears it is OK in your land. Best regards to you and staff.

Firstly the whole vehicle has suffered from an impact, when you look at the damage it has put stress in just about the entire vehicle yet one side and a roof has been repaired but then you look at repairs like the back pillar that has been cut and joined. This is a major part of strength and safety to the car which you pretty much never do a cut and join in such a place, that pillar should have been unstitched or at the very least there should have been an overlap of panels in the weld not a butt joint. There would be many more issues that we just wouldn’t pick up from video but I highly doubt it has been repaired to manufacturers instructions and you have to remember the design has undergone crash testing and design to act in a certain way in an accident to protect the occupants but when you make such a massive repair like this then you alter the way the crash cell behaves. @carusosteve424 You have no idea what you're talking about. There is no such law in the USA saying what car can or cannot be repaired. The insurance company won't fix it but they'll auction it off to the highest bidder and someone will buy it and either repair it or part it out. If repaired, it may have a salvage or rebuilt title and put out on some used car rock lot and be driven by whatever unsuspecting soul buys it. I've seen cars with this kind of damage repaired, titled and being driven many times. Often they're not even repaired as well as these guys repaired this one.

This was a lot of hard Work. Respect. How many Hours did the Guys work on this Car? And is there an Saftey Inspection needed from any Authority ?✌
@xinxianshi5 ай бұрын
Hello, thank you for your support. It took 15 days to repair this car. Unfortunately, no organization has checked the safety. All the inspections were done by the owner himself.

@@xinxianshi Not so, at least still no. Care for your health as a fellow human. Others have made notice, yet you still wear no eye protection when welding, only recently wear eye protection when grinding, and usually no protection when spray painting! Your eyes, your lungs. Won't last long. Hope you take heed.

Yes, this is a welding method that many technicians will use, which can avoid the frequent use of welding glasses. Improve work efficiency

Yes, this intermittent welding is not suitable for glasses, so they use this method to improve work efficiency

Did they even survive?

Hello, as far as I know, the driver of this car survived, and fortunately there was no passenger on the front passenger seat. The safety of Audi cars is first-class, and the cockpit remains intact.

Here that would never be allowed to be repaired. Crushed and scrapped without removing any good parts.

If "here" is in the US then, unfortunately, you are sorely mistaken. No, the insurance company won't fix it but they'll auction it off and whoever buys it can do what they want with it. It will likely get a salvage or rebuilt title but it could be back on the road again if someone wanted to do what these guys did.

Всегда возникает вопрос, зачем такое восстанавливать? Прочности уже не будет никогда и кто-то погибнет.

yeah hand rubbing a weld usually makes it stronger, like welding without eye protection makes your eyes stronger

If this is a toy or model fix, there is nothing wrong with this restoration. However, can this kind of repair pass the car safety crash test? Can this fix survive from another car accident?
