Hello everyone, in this video I am restoring another Ford Escape car after an accident. I will sell this car in the future, if someone is interested in this offer, send me to Direct Instagram or telegram.
In this video I tried to minimize costs: the prices for auto parts in Belarus are simply sky-high:
- driver's door 800$
- the whole wing is $400
- headlight 1000$
- bumper only lower lip 100$
The high prices for spare parts stimulated me to do everything with my own hands, although initially I planned to change everything to new parts in order to get the best possible result.
As a result, I do not regret that I restored everything exactly this way, because any difficulties pump up our experience.
When you buy a car from a reseller, do not neglect checking the car on all points.

Более того, никто не заморачивается полной антикоррозией, включая скрытых полостей. По факту сделано грамотно в рамках ограниченного бюджета (не стали менять фару, капот, дверь, крыло).

Даже только лишь сделать всю данную работу уже титанический труд. А ещё добавить отсъём материала, расстановку камер, освещения, съёмки "из-под ведра", нигде не забыть про ключевые кадры... Так и это же ещё не всё. Потом сортировка материала, отбор дублей без слов, обрезка заготовок, монтаж, озвучка "смешными звуками", соблюсти последовательность в фильме и ещё "тонны" всего... Антон, ты человечище, мастер. Восхитительные 1 час и 9 минут познавательного и просто залипательно-интересного контента. Громадное спасибо. Очень много черпаю для себя из твоих видосов. I love seeing competence in motion. If I could find 5 guys like you, I'd OPEN a body shop here in the midwest US.. A true craftsman. VERY few auto body shops here in the US would got to the trouble you did. Amazing work. I've been a mechanic for 45 years and I've "dabbled" in bodywork only when I had to. (I simply don't have the patience for it, nor the eye). Seriously, NOBODY here in the US aside from maybe some classic car restoration shops can match your work. Come to the US and with these cars you've done as a "portfolio" and proof of your skill, you could make a LOT of money. Even as a teacher (trade schools..the one I went to for auto mechanics for two years also has a body shop program). I swear on my life, you would be successful. So would your buddy pulling that dent out of the left rear quarter panel. Few today bother with hammer and dolly work either. Most paint jobs you'll find sand scratches, orange peel, dust in the paint to no end, overspray everywhere, and gallons of bondo. However, you WOULD have to find a shop that would actually PAY you what you're worth, and for the time it takes to do the job right. Most of them take ZERO pride in their work and they simply do the repair as cheap and as fast as they can. I think I'd FLY you out here if I was going to restore my 84 GMC K2500 suburban diesel 4x4. Or my 02 Mercedes CL600 V12 for that matter (not as near bad off body wise, but it could be a LOT prettier. Again, I bow to a true craftsman. Although my shop is crammed full right now, if I emptied it out, you'd have PLENTY of room to work..

Many guys wrote to me that there are not enough such specialists in the USA. But I don't want to do it. This is a very harmful job. Health is more expensive. I'm no longer at the age to start from scratch. Although, maybe I just didn't have a good offer. So far, everyone is just talking, but no one has offered anything.

I disagree... There are plenty of great artisans here. Its not worth spending over $6500 (really more like 8k for the quality of workmanship displayed here) on a car that was owned by a bank or insurance company. However, I understand this is a great arbitrage position for Russian entrepreneurs since the vehicle will be imported & have a clean title. This is one way for institutions to capitalize on these assets... Before the car is reported as salvaged/not repairable, they sell the car no questions asked to get top dollar in the process... Not illegal because arguably, most "salvaged" vehicles can be repaired & in addition, the majority are salvaged because the cost to repair would not make financial sense. Picture this: Bank gives you 20k... lets say you pay them 5k and then the car gets 6500 in damage... bank gets 14k insurance check (financed cars have full coverage) Now they are down only 1k and they have options... spend 6500 for work like this to sell for $12500(profit 5k)... or sell the car as is/reparable for 7k (Profit 6k less time & energy.)

Much respect from an American mechanic who fixes cars broken in American, who has learned how to fix things right with what he has to work with. Very impressive. Я видел, как многие люди покупали подержанные автомобили в Корее и отправляли их на родину или формировали команды для разборки и ремонта автомобилей, попавших в аварии или наводнения, и ремонта их способом, аналогичным видео. Просмотр видео напомнил мне о них. Возможно, они не такие дотошные и профессиональные, как вы, но по моим меркам они довольно хороши. В Корее очень много русских. Я работаю с командой, о которой говорю, более 5 лет, и они в основном специализируются на автомобилях BMW, Benz и корейских автомобилей (говорят, что они просты в обращении и приносят высокую прибыль). Просто посмотрев видео, вы можете себе представить, сколько машин он трогал, насколько он был расстроен и как много он изучил. Болеем за тебя из Кореи :) Ты лучший в этой области.

Антону нет смысла "впаривать" качественно отреставрированный товар "дураку-покупателю". Уверен, после просмотра его роликов к нему и так нехилая очередь за подобными тачками стоит. А Вам не мешало бы научиться отличать мастера-реставратора от хапуги-перекупа.

Однако, желающих сполна платить за восстановленное авто, как за целое не очень много, поэтому мастер и будет до последнего продавать машину как небитую. Спросите друзей, много ли среди них желающих купить по цене небитой машинки тачку с тюнингом, которой начался с удара о другую машину или о столб? Тут скидка полагается и немалая.

Anton, did you keep this one? These Accord Sports are great cars that will run for 350,000 km plus if properly maintained. I liked what you did with the sound deadening insulation. I wondered if it would affect the fit of the interior. But evidently it wasn't a problem. I watch your videos and lose track of time. Love the videography, tempo, camera effects and humor. Great job on the car. I'd buy it without hesitation. By the way, my compliments to your wheel men. Very nice job.

@@richardgithens1960 I would imagine he would keep her. The sound deadening and rust undercoating is optional in america in repair. The extra work doesn't add to resale value here, but it benefits the owner greatly

Many of the components you’re working with in this car are stamped and assembled in the factory I work in. I used to do auto body work. I loved it until I grew out of it. I wanted to tell you that you have done an amazing job on this car. And considering the conditions you are working in it is clear you’re an exceptional craftsman. I worked in a shop much like yours; a little bit larger but it was very similar. Very nice!

I have the exact car. I bought a black 2022 Honda Accord Sport, except mine is the 2.0T with push button transmission. I absolutely love my Accord. This video was awesome and you did a fantastic job with the restoration of this car. I hope you have many years of enjoyment from this automobile. It was built in Marysville, Ohio at the Honda USA Factory.

This Honda model has very poor noise insulation at the factory. Although I really like the car. I knew about this flaw in advance and immediately eliminated it.

Having worked in Technica both in Germany and the US during it's halcyon days, I had the privilege of knowing some of the best body and powerplant instructors and mechanics who breathed new life into BMW during the late 1970's and the early 1980's. Your videos bring back to life their high standards of design, craftmanship and innovation, the likes of I have not seen for over 40 years. I'm so happy to see that this level of ability, skill and talent exists there. Preserve, and teach it to the youth there, because such knowledge and experience no longer exists in the US and Western Europe!!!

Колоссальная работа ! Смотрится как кино, тяжело оторваться - очень захватывает )) Вопросы : Почему не стали менять целиком весь лонжерон ? Так ведь было бы прочнее. Или новый лонжерон с разбора ? (вроде со стороны моторного щита на нем трещины были) Не показали проварку нижнего силового элемента лонжерона изнутри. Выглядело как будто встык снаружи только проварили. Да и верхний только частично показали (с зеркалом) На сколько увеличилась масса (со всеми шумками и вибропластами) ?
