***** It wasn't supposed to be laugh out loud funny either... Also, if you have watched mid 1970's, late 1980's, or the current show, you may reevaluate that statement. Granted it's never super super scary due to it's large child fanbase, but there have been eras of the show that understand and use horror to aid in drama and storytelling. Afterall scary things help you feel the stakes should the protagonist lose. This was clearly the intended focus of this scene. To have a frightening scenario to get us rooting for the Doctor... Problem is, the execution and dialogue ruined the tension and drama this scene was supposed to build making it unintentionally hillarious. Granted, bad dialogue and directing is the source of 90% of The End of Time's badness... The other 10% being RTD masturbating over David Tennant's Doctor, and making incredibly stupid story choices as a result...

TheMauve Someone needs to re-evaluate their life. Russel's writing was fantastic, just like the writing of every episode in Modern Who, if not all of Who. The dialogue was fine. The drama was fine. And scariness isn't needed. What's needed is the realization of the threat. _This_ is the realization of the threat. The execution was done right. You're simply a butthurt person, like oh-so many others. Get off that pole and wrap your head around the fact that this episode is brilliant, or get out.

Although 😅, If I'm being being completely honest, I've had the Lancelot picture since I was 13, I think, back when I was really into it and the whole medieval thing, since I have Knight Of The Wind. I've actually been meaning to change it for a short while. I know a decent bit about Doctor Who and I scour through the fandom from time to time, but I haven't seen many full episodes of the show. And I don't own much merch or swag or whatever from anything (because reasons). While likes and dislikes of things remain, I tend to jump between how much I'm going crazy through the fandom of one thing or another on the internet or whatever else at a certain time, though I do often circle back around to things. I guess you could say that's the ADHD peeking around the corner, but yeah, I'm very sorry to disappoint you. Hell, I have no idea where the sonic series is at right now, aside from the fact that Sonic Boom and Lost Worlds exist. However, I am still a very passionate person, which is basically the definition of a geek, and there are many other things that still qualify me as a huge geek, I assure you. Plus the Zelda thing? Oh, yeah, that's legit. LoZ is my favorite video game series ever. I got a Zelda calendar this past Christmas, and I am *sooooo* gonna dress as Link for Halloween. This month is Fi, I love her.😄
