Looks like something that could've been in a Halo game. I like the design.

Works nicely for dropping off crew, but i believe its size might attract unwanted attention...

Yet another atmospheric transport ship falsely being called a "dropship" because the creator thinks dropship sounds cool. To be a dropship, it must be capable of bringing its payload from orbit down to the surface of a planet, and then returning to orbit. This ship is clearly not capable of reaching orbit, and so is only an atmospheric transport ship.

Not necessarily my fellow 🤓, if you consider that most, if not all, of our dropships irl tend to not go to space... as long as it's capable and designed to transport large quantities of personal (or cargo), It would most likely still be called a dropship.

Gotta love it when you try to moan about a definition, but don't actually know the definition yourself... Like said above, we have dropships today, commonly used in the military and 95% of them are unable to go to space at all, and are purely atmospheric based... The only dropships we have that can go to space are space agency rockets designed to "drop off" equipment, supplies and people into orbit or onto other celestial bodies... And even then, they are basically just rockets alone at thag point.

@@ethanlevine9012 A drop ship is a ship that travels from orbit to the surface of a planet, and then back to orbit. Drop as in dropping from orbit. That's the actual definition of a drop ship. If it can't operate outside the atmosphere, it's not a drop ship. It's an atmospheric transport. People keep abusing the name drop ship because they think it sounds cool.
