Instant transmission requires a person to act as a beacon and concentrated focus, which would be hard while suffocating in the vaccum of space. And there are character in DB who has been unfaced by the Kamehameha as well. And you would have preferred to have Superman *not* catch Goku and let his body just crash into the ground?

@valkyria20chronicles thanks for watching and commenting. I hear you on the instant transmission but he has used it under extreme stress, for instance against Cell during The Cell games. Also, during his fight with Baris in space he didn't seem like he was suffocating struggling for breath -- we don't know how long he can hold his breath, he might have the lung capacity of a blue whale 😂. And yes Goku falling to the ground like a g would have been better than superman catching and carrying him down like he is a damsel in distress hahaha. Stay blessed G 🤜🏾

​@@HIM_066 Yeah, that plan doesnt work for several reasons. 1) As already said, Instant Transmission requires the user to have time unmolested to use. Kinda hard to have that in the middle of a fight to the death. Goku was only able to use that againt Cell because Cell was standing there like an idiot while Goku charged his attack. So its a very contrived scenario to begin with. 2) How would Goku *know* to do that? That's a very specific tactic for a very specific weakness. Goku isn't a scientist. How on earth is he supposed to figure out that a very specific type of star will drain Superman's powers? The man could barely figure out how to drive a car. 3) The effect of a red sun isn't instant. Superman could always just fly away. Hell, in recent comics he can fucking teleport now. So that pretty much negates that entire strat. 4) Goku would need to physically touch Superman first. Not only is Superman faster, not only would that be incredibly risky given how mich stronger Superman is, but Superman could simply phase out of Goku's grip if he ever tried. 5) Even if we ignore all of that, Instant Transmission requires ANOTHER PERSON to act as a beacon. Goku explicitly locks onto another person's Ki to teleport to their location, and it has to be somone who's Ki he is familiar with, ie someone he already knows. So he would need to have a friend, ally, or enemy just happen to be in orbit of a red sun at the same time he's fighting Superman. Not only is that incredibly unlikely to happen, it would explicitly violate the Rules of Death Battle, which forbid any outside help. If you spent half as much time paying attention as you do being angry, you might get more done.
