I saw the price tag. 2500... WHO is ignorant enough to dump their money into that. The upgrade to legendary or to another rarity should nowhere be above 500 atlas bucks. Not even to mention most still make scraps monthly.

I'm close to 150 parcels and I think I'll keep buying badges and holding out for awhile to see if maybe they do a legendary parcel upgrade sale every now and then. If they made it 2,000 AB then it becomes a little more compelling.

Honestly if a bunch of players yolo it and buy legendaries for really any reason at all I’m happy for it. That is more game currency (therefore real currency) being retained in the game, which is a good thing for AEs longevity.

Yeah, pretty much, but I feel like they're gonna need to do something more than simple cosmetics to win over a good portion of the audience. Like when buildings come out, have it so some buildings can only be in some landscapes and they provide more rent or something like that.

Also being able to go inside the buildings and customize them as we would in real life. I think, right now, I'm only going to upgrade if I am not able to get parcels. The best investment for my AB is saving for badges and teir jumping.

my odds have been pretty good I only need 4 more to get to 60 Canadian. still a shit load of land I ride ebike 60km in either direction from home and rarely see a cluster a few lone parcels, I like lakefront parcels good odds of at least epic. No way for years on the upgrades, I will be long gone before they are needed.

I'm wondering if the price of land will go up as time go on. Imagine in 2030 a plot of land cost 500 atlas bucks.

It would require us to start getting through a lot more land before we can do that. If we're only at ~0.02% of the US taken and at about 10% is what I estimate is the breaking point, we will need about 200x the activity we do now to get that done by 2030.

1500 is fair for that but doing maths 1 legend = 4 x com you could get 24 x common for that mind they could be rare and epic amongst that even chance of legend as ive pulled 2x legends in a row was an awesome feeling can't wait to pump out 54k ab

On top of way over charging for the upgrade, they took out our ability to get AB back from Burger King. Or they hid it and I can’t find it. I also think if you upgrade you should get AB from that parcel every day. I would have been happy for it to just be cosmetic upgrades for another 100 AB if it generated AB. This is a money grab.

Looking at the chart. I'm a 30x person. I have 150 parcels. If I bug 70 land to get to next teir break point 220. I actually lose money. If I buy a legendary upgrade I make more. Am I missing something? Seems like staying at 150 and lving all commons to legendary and buying all badges to 25% is the way to go. That's going to take me forever anyway.

The difference is the Super Rent Boost events. We get 2 SRBs a month and that makes up any of the difference. SRBs become ~50% more effective when you go up to 220.

Using the spreadsheet u made. I put in an average number i expect to get out of 70 more parcles. My expected income goes down even with boosted. I do see on the pictures it says it goes up. Unsure what im doing wrong. ​i think the issue is that i got really good odds. When i added the 70, i added the normal average. My current is 57 common, 58 rare, 26 epic, 9 legendary. @BeerMoneyEngine

Land will never be scarce for me cuz im live in military base and everyone is broke and not a lot of people play atlas earth here so I got so much parcel to buy here if I buy it out it would be enough to surpass the number 1 player in the leaderboard but I too am broke to buy out everything here and I calculated that every 10k parcel = over 1 million atlas buck required and if you spam the 54k atlas buck you be spending 40k dollar per 10k parcel so 40k parcel is over 160k dollar and cuz stealth got to lvl 5 passport boost he definitely over spend over 160k dollar

Stealth likely spent $80-90k en route to the presidency and has been going mostly off of residuals ever since.

The whole thing is a scam, every metaverse project lost like 90% of its value

One of the things that I feel like Atlas Earth does better than the other metaverse games is they decided to not go the crypto route and instead focused on being a rewards app with a... sort of game inside. I think that's part of why at the 2 year mark they're still adding stuff rather than taking away like the Web3 games have been doing at this point in the cycle. So while I agree that the metaverse projects suck, I don't think AE is like that. I mean someday it might.. if the advertiser/sponsor money no longer exceeds the rent they must pay out, but it seems to have more staying power than most to me. That being said, not really a financial guy, and I myself take caution on putting ANY money into any of this anyway. They have a viable F2P option so that's what I'd say go for.

So at 12x boost it's not worth it and frankly, at 2400 it's not worth it anyway unless you're brand spanking new and you want to play the long game. I'm making a dollar a day and am happy with that.
