Underrated. Name looks foreign but speaks perfect English. All of the other videos are by Indians with strong accents. Good explanation. Please vote up.

I don't see why the accent should be a problem. If the explanation is good, then the accent doesn't really matter. That's just my personal opinion. Great video by the way, super clear and helped me a lot.

For example, if the english is not your mothertongue, it can be difficult to understand it with an accent. That's my case so I prefer when they have an english accent :)

@@AlejandroRodriguez-qy3gh It is a problem for a non-native speaker, I can't even understand English with Mandarin accents.

@@AlejandroRodriguez-qy3gh It's usually not just the accent. In my experience, Indian channels go over method but not theory as much. It's very mechanical without offering an explanation...

@@AlejandroRodriguez-qy3gh You're lucky. You must have never searched for an explanation video only to find that all the videos are unintelligible. Of course they have nothing to do with competence, but an extreme accent can ruin an explanation, especially in math or any complex topic. It can be frustrating. Most of the time the accents are ok (like this video), but sometimes I just wish Americans would get better at math and create more videos!

Best natural spline video had been found on youtube. Watch this video and following (example) video. After watching two videos, you can able to understand the natural spline concept. Thanks to The math guy for the wonderful explanation.

Thank you for the video and the time that you put into it. I would have one question. How are the splines that satisfy the derivative condition called? (if they have a name, like the natural splines do)

Hey Mr. Math Guy! Thanks for the great explanation. I would like to quote your video in my paper for school. Could you tell me at which university you teach so that I can cite it as a source? Many thanks and many greetings from Bavaria :)

Dear Hendrik, so glad to hear you liked the video. This is my private collection of videos which I make at home so the University where I teach has nothing to do with it else I would be quoting them all the time in the videos. So just the Math Guy on youtube will suffice. If you need more information about me please send me an email at aliransari69@gmail.com.
