Whether a video game is good or not is the result of the culmination of many different moving parts: team experience, funding, timing, vision, feedback, and leadership, to name a few. "Woke, which I wouldn't even call it that, is but one of these moving parts. Ninety-nine times out of ten, a game is not good or bad because it is inclusive to certain people. it's always the combination of everything that goes into making the game that determines the outcome. I can't believe this isn't common knowledge.

I have mixed feelings. I’m a huge ND fan. But I also don’t like seeing all these games go woke. The last couple years the gaming community has made it very clear that they are tired of girl boss feminist/lesbian characters everywhere. And ND’s new game reveal shows 2 girl boss characters that look like they are feminists and/or lesbians. I think the game will have great gameplay, graphics, environments, AI, motion capture, sound design, etc. and the sales will be ok. But if they made characters more appealing to the typical gamer, and not the “modern audience” it could have been one of the top selling games.

I don't think they blocked the comments because if personal feelings. There's a LOT ! Whole lot of multiple "Anti" groups. Especially with Naughty Dog and Playstation & DEI, Woke, too many woman protagonist etc etc etc. In gaming you gave other extra elements like console/ platform warringg. review bombinggand people tend to ride the wave of what they feel is the popular opinion. I think the turned it off because they didn't want ak the negative comments they knew were gonna come. To sway the opinions of everyone else that sees them. So they just turned it off. It's sad because the game could be good. I think TLOU2 was a really good game. If you took away all the personal feelings and beliefs that people held against the game. It was actually really good. But I you can't really push risky or daring boundaries these days. You most definitely have to play it safe. Not so much creativity or being different. People want what they feel to be normal. & That's what these dev's will just have to understand and do (normal, safe + fun). In order to not get bashed.

the most stupid title for a video. video games dont have dei, video games are the farthest thing from woke. in the history of gaming there have been tons of diversity and inclusion. who is lara croft, who is cj from gta, who is miles morales, the woman from mirrors edge. resident evil. mortal kombat, street fighter.... i can just start naming the great franchises from decades in the past with diversity and inclusion. do better guys

You miss the point of having DEI in history of games. DEI in gaming history was different from we have today. Just like Lara Croft(Woman) is beautiful not bald headed arrogant, CJ(Black American) his story revolves around the hood as a gangster and not some Samurai Warrior in Japan.
