I wonder when live players will be able to wear glasses that show them a display of possible hand combos and odds/equity against them. Programs could break things down and just tell you what you want to know to make a decision without having to try to think of it all on the spot.

This is a good catch, and I noticed it too late. I forgot to add the straddle to the pot and it should be $217. I don't normally account for the rake or jackpot drop when calculating the size of the pot, although strictly speaking, I should. Just for complete information, the rake is $4 and the bad beat jackpot is $1.

I wouldn't call that a donk bet... there are 2 hearts and the pot is already $207. You're protecting your hand making a call bad for villain to draw to a flush..... and you win $207 pot........ and if they make the DONK CALL with a flush draw, you win all the money most of the time... Where do you see this being a donkey shove?

Donk bet just means they bet out on the flop instead of checking in flow to the preflop raiser. Doesn’t mean it’s a donkey play.

Wouldn't it have been more profitable for the Villain to make a value bet, say $100, instead of going all in?

Ed B no, because then AA has so many cards the Villain wouldn’t wanna see on the turn or river especially because he isn’t holding an A. He would get beat by seeing a 10 or an A, therefore he puts his opponent in a tough spot with AA. Also with KQ he also has blockers to sets, making it unlikely he is destroyed. A shove here is probably profitable in the long run.

Ethan Ballesteros just because villain could get drawn out, on doesn’t mean shoving is the right play. By that logic you should open shove AA preflop.

@@ethanballesteros1481 There are only six cards that are 10s and As. Shoving would seem to lead to many folds and the occasional superior hand, which doesn't seem profitable. I would prefer that inferior hands or draws call a bet.

Allin is actually a very poor play in here. You’re either dead or get small on this kind of board. There is no way anybody would call that with a weaker hand. Either a stronger hand or a great drawing hand, which means odds are against you: so on the long run, you’re loser. Big time! So, risking huge to win less while going against odds is never a profitable play.

see now again I'm hearing you add YOUR CALL into the equation for equity... I literally hear the opposite in every video I fricken watch... In some videos you only add the opponents bet and the pot.... now this guy is saying you add your call and the bet and the pot.... I've heard both of these equal times at least 10 times... GAAAHHHH!!!
