Jason Kidd is an excellent coach, and Kyrie has loved JKidd since he was a child in New Jersey. PJ, Gafford, Lively, Grimes, Naji, many players have a history of excelling under Kidd's leadership in Dallas.

@@andreigoudala7575I don’t think so. His defense looks concerning, and his offense at most is decent, but I prefer good or great better than decent. I’ll take DFS over Obi any day

@@justap7164 U have a point but for me offense matters, specially watching the NBA championship last season Mavs really can't score although they have a great Defense. Boston offense is just better they can all shoot from three so mavs couldn't get an answer. That's the reason why the Pacers has been phenomenal in the playoffs prior to their 70% offense while making a poor defensive mindset.

I truly think Kyrie and Luka are the most talented players in the NBA all round...it was just not their time yet to win a Championship.

Kyrie has never been a bad playoff performer for his entire career. His true shooting percentage in the 2015,2016,2017, 2021, and the 2022 playoffs has been higher than the playoff average. In the 2024 playoffs he had the exact league average in true shooting in the playoffs and that’s even skewed by his final’s performance. The only time he was bad was the 2019 playoffs in the second round and the 2024 finals.

Kyrie and the mavs just ran into the better team it happens
@abtocool63505 күн бұрын
@ there offense was why they lost in my opinion though. The Celtics offensive rating was 112 which is a bottom 5 offense which is equivalent to the wizards offense, the mavs offensive rating was 108 though which would be the worst. The Celtics by far had their worst offensive series against Dallas, the media putting the blame on Luka’s defense is insane considering those facts and also considering the other factors.
