I have to say, I have been sniping in video games of all kinds since 2012. Even though sniping has felt off in cod for a good few years, this sniper has brought the fun in sniping back for me. As a DLC sniper in BO6 i cant believe I've actually have had some fun playing the game the last few days, all because of this new sniper. Grinding Dark Matter for it, even though it barely took an hour and a half, felt like real fun that i haven't felt in a cod game in a long time. EDIT : Also, is it just me or does Dark Matter look soooo much better on the AMR MOD 4 than any other weapon in the game?? I feel like the blue shows a lot more on this weapon then all the others.

This is the best version of the Barrett since CoD 4. It's so good! I don't have it unlocked yet, but I picked one up off an enemy the other day and proceeded to get a decent little 4-piece with it. Not a quad feed because it was on Nuketown and the kills come so fast on that map, but yeah. I'm loving it! Can't wait to have it unlocked for myself so I can get the camos done.

This gun is absolutely nutty but does it feel super inconsistent with penetration damage? Like it will hitmarker nearly every collat or surface i shoot through unless i equip fmj. I no joke had to shoot the same guy 3 times with the barrett through a wall on hardpoint to kill him

I wouldn’t even say this is broken. If you realistically shoot a 50 cal at somebody it’s going to obliterate them. It’s an anti material round for a reason. So I’m glad they actually let it live up to its name. Plus with the new sniper buffs. I bet the other bolt actions are hitting this well to just maybe not the whole body but the accuracy will be better
