If you can't keep an abundance of pigs warm in the winter you sell the extras off cheap. Sort of a bumper crop. That is why the McRib is always limited in the late fall, and sometimes not appearing at all.

I had a friend who was obsessed with them. I didn't have one until years after it first came out. When I did my first question was: WHY DOES ANYONE LIKE THIS? I get it is McD and sometimes we just like trashy food and all but this was nasty. I do not know what the meat tasted like but I could not stand the sauce. I also need cheese. hehe

By all accounts I should hate this abhorrent sandwich, but for some reason I love it. Can't get enough of it. Something about the mix of the meat, onions pickles, sauce and soft roll just gets me.

The mix of the meat are scraps of pork that literally fell on the floor that can’t be used for anything else except pressed meat. My whole family got food poisoning from them

I found out you can get it with “dehydrated onions” which are the very tiny ones, instead of the big slices. I prefer the big and extra!

The rib shaped pork patties are available online in frozen form from several companies & in various sizes. ex: 2oz, 3oz etc. Usually in 5lb, 10lb cases. OnCor brand is in grocery store frozen foods section & are heat & serve. (or make your own sandwich)

Thank you so much for giving me a shout out on this vid regarding my germ transfer comment. i actually did grow up in the Catholic church, but i left it to go to non-denominational churches. Not that there's anything wrong with being Catholic. I did not leave the church because of the germs on the goblet or the wafers at communion. I am also not a fanatical germaphobe either. I just practice sensible hygiene before I consume a meal. Again, I really do enjoy your videos. You are in good company with just about every food reviewer on KZbin regarding my comment issue. I was just curious as to why reviewers just don't take simple precautions. Particularly after almost 3 years of a pandemic.

I don’t mind McRibs I’ve had bad ones and good ones but mostly meh ones. Think it depends on my mood too cause if u order at the right time a meh one might just hit and taste better than it should 😂 Its funny all the things GenX grew up with freak people out now. But also 2020 changed things too and made us more aware how we touch things. im like whatever. If i have to cook for someone else im way more careful Sharing bites with family or really close friends can be ok unless one of u is sick Hope u had a nice thankgiving and Dan too. Mine was nice

After I started becoming a germaphobe in my 30s, it was hilarious. Prior to that I had been a nanny and nothing kids did bothered me. Afterward, however, I could not stand one minute of it. Yes, some germs are good but not the ones on your phone. The phone is actually almost as bad as a toilet. Read up on that and you would never want to use your phone again. I am a germaphobe (I never used to be - it started, I guess around my 30s, I think, so I have had a good 25 years of disgust with everything). The greatest thing about COVID was I could easily be crazy about cleaning without judgment from other people. Sometimes I do or don't notice some of the things in your videos that the person was commenting on, so it is not a thing that would keep me from watching them of course. Now if I watch you touch uncooked items and then cooked items or then touch other things afterward, it is another thing. I am always asking cooking You Tubers how much they edit because I get disgusted watching what people do with uncooked chicken and what they do after handling it. I have seen you use your wipes sometimes in videos, so I can tell you are at least cognizant of what's going on - you just can only handle so much while still providing content. Otherwise the video would be 10 hours long. LOL
