The Me+ approach is futile in meditation

About four months ago I asked for the following: "I want to stop biting my nails". Then I thought, three months ago, uf I am still biting my nails perhaps asking doesn't work... However a week ago my tooth coronas got changed (I had them done since many years due to bad medical advice😡) and to my surprise the new ones don't tolerate nail biting. You just can't get the right angle. I can't bite them any more! It is a bit annoying now while watching KZbin I am still holding my hand in that position and there is that nail and I'd just take a tasty bite but it is not possible! So well now I have to admit ok I asked for this but it is strange to see my nails actually grow. Obviously I would not ask for it to reverse but still it is not cool... I noticed especially now that I watched a recent video of yours about Swami Vivekananda (ok I just watched it to see you) and that is a political subject from a country where I've never been so I missed the nail biting thing while listening...
