Thank you for mentioning Jocko Willink. I think he is a good example of a philosopher. He not only seeks to live well and improve his mind and the wirld around him, but he doesn't use his intellect as an excuse to neglect his body. He is in excellent physical condition, skilled at Jiu Jitsu, and tech savy. He is well balanced. I grew up thinking that intellectuals are always in bad shape and have disheveled appearances because intelligence doesn't care about superficial things like strength and beauty. I have since changed my mind and am much better for it.

Reflection is key. There are powerful mysteries which lie just beyond the void veil. Unfortunately, 99% of mankind isn't capable of comprehending the proverbial doors, hinges, and keys... and also, as most people *DO* know, the metaphorical door is essentially a one-way gate. 🐲✨🐲✨🐲✨ "Before I start, I must see my end. Aristotelianism has always appealed to me as it seems to be, pardon the joke, in the middle of Stoicism and Epicureanism. The latter two seemingly drawn out by groups who favored certain aspects of Aristotle's teachings before founding their own schools. Aristotle's Ethics preserves the discipline that we tend to enjoy from the Stoics, but never forgets the leisure and pleasure in moderation we know Epicurus for. After all, it is Aristotle who defines that leisure is the purpose of work and understands that basics (Food, shelter etc) are needed to actually enjoy life.

We as humans create a polarized world no matter our thinking. Finding the inner center will be non-existent. We are in harmony by the unknown and the obvious. Civilizations lure humans that peace lays in the order. In fact, our independence and differences are key to happiness.

The paradigm for Homo sapiens changed when our species became collectively able to negatively affect the environment with our technology/energy emissions. Before that ability, Homo sapiens had the latitude to act virtually any way it wanted to, spanning ethical to unethical, responsibly or irresponsibly. Most of that legacy expression, including religious ethics, addressed the management of human tribalism fated to Paleo-regressive repetition serving in-group/out-group dynamics. Now however, the paradigm affecting the species requires systems-based global thinking and coordinated actions that design sustainable environmental outcomes, including presumably, desirable social outcomes. This mandate identifies providing solutions to self-interested human tribalism and the self-interested state competing in the interstate system, class dynamics, expansionist ideologies, consumption vs. utilitarianism, sustainable practices both human and productive, and of course, capitalism. Another solution is to abandon fossil fuels and attached technology altogether, and return to prior expressions of perennial baseline tribalism. Current ethical consideration should address prioritizing physics-governed environmental determinism as the immutable incorruptible impartial standard candle and peacemaker with excelsior.
