Absolute monarchy is the best form of government. Democracy can never be sustained.

I think a lot of wealthy people are just subsumed by the enjoyment of improving their business, especially on the numbers side. And competition between businesses tends to crush the worker as businesses seek to reduce costs and maximize earnings which come mostly from the workers. A side note, I think this is why despotism has been the most popular form of government, since the king is all powerful and is also the voice and will of the people. It helps that a king had no self interest, theres nothing he could possibly gain.

Most juniors and seniors in high school don’t care to learn or even to care about history. Most adults in the U.S. don’t know the Declaration of Independence and even the first ten amendments of the U.S.Constitution. Hence, teachers can teach, but students don’t learn!

we are in a matrix i can see it now. everything is an illusion and until some major event wakes us all up and realize altogether that we don't have to play by their rules and we don't have to play their game, we will always be imprisoned, enslaved, and abused. it's a twisted and rigged game designed for the majority to fail. we are the majority, but we are led to believe that the few have power over the majority. one person alone cannot fight against the few in power, it takes more than one person to break the system

One thing about oligarchy is how it emerged. For example, Marx defines the starting point of capitalism as a revolt from the capitalist class against the feudal system with Cromwell's revolt. Starting from there, the trend of people started to go more liberal, in the classical sense. It was the highest degree of freedom attained in history, personal and economical freedom. It was something unprecedented. For me, the decline started when more and more capitalists started utilizing the government for their own benefits to maximize profits and get rid of competition. There are plenty of examples from recent history, from medical lodged providing affordable health care being lobbied against. Other such examples: - In industries such as telecommunications or pharmaceuticals, lobbying often results in regulations that increase compliance costs, favoring large corporations that can afford these expenses and driving smaller firms out of the market. - During economic downturns, large firms often lobby for bailouts, arguing that they are "too big to fail." This leads to taxpayer-funded support for firms that might otherwise be replaced by more efficient competitors. - In housing, rent control policies designed to benefit tenants often lead to reduced housing supply and lower-quality accommodations. Similarly, agricultural subsidies can lead to overproduction and wastage. Similar issue with government zoning. - In the early 20th century, mutual aid societies and fraternal organizations provided affordable healthcare, insurance, and other benefits to working-class individuals. Lobbying by medical associations and insurance companies led to regulations that outlawed or marginalized these organizations, driving up costs and limiting options for the poor. - Large-scale lobbying in sectors like defense, energy, or pharmaceuticals often results in lucrative government contracts or favorable legislation, enriching a few at the expense of taxpayers and overall market efficiency. - Historical "public utility" regulations often entrenched large corporations, limiting consumer choice and stifling innovation in sectors like electricity or telecommunications. So, it started with capitalists revolting against the state, to just the forming of large corporations that pseudo leech off and work for the state.

I think we should rethink our political systems completely. There are other options. One would be to give control to the qualified. allow people to participate in tests and put those with the best results in positions of power. Voting could still be used, but just to vote someone who performs bad out of office, not into office. Also a mentor system where the future leader serves under the previous leader as student before taking over would ensure stability. The most extreme, but superior system i could imagine would be one where a leader has to die at the end of his term, ensuring nobody will take power out of self interest.

12:08 Interesting, that the Refugees who flee war and Genocide are dumped on the same category of immigrants and specifically 'mass immigration'. There is no mass- immigration and if there was an example of mass immigrations it's the Europeans during the Nineteenth century and their imperial doings. Only mentioning the Politea and contemporary issues while misinforming the public is a new form of pseudo- academic BS. Questionable is the focus on European ancient history and applying them to USA and other white countries, becaus 'imagine a hypothetical government' is more leading than it is open on the Internet. I've major issues with this format and I think this is not the correct way to broadcast Ancient History. I am an Ancient History student myself and I regard this as not ethical. The narrative gives far too much space for assumptions and the this leads to the wrong interpretation of the Politea. Yes you can say there are parallels with what Aristotle had written a few ages ago with issues we face nowadays, but the 'now' is not the same as Ancient Greece nor are the social issues or the so called ethnic defintions. You talk about the different forms of political systems, but the democracy of Ancient Greece is not the same as nowadays democracy, and for that matter the other systems. Your forget to mention this. Academic History is not about the creating justfications of nowadays narratives, it's about understanding the complex development of historical events, persons, ideas etc *at that time* ; this video is pseudo to the max. It's a simple copy paste work and drawing parallels to highlight rightwing conservative 'Save Europe' incel campaign issues. If you want to 'rewrite history' the format is the academic debate, not a pseudo- academic video with AI pictures and the hint of intellectualism ''because it is about Aristotle''...... You elavate so called European ancient history singling it out from the living connections Southern Europe had with the Middle East, Africa and Asia and secondly, presenting as if it is the highest authority on contemporary issues. If the content was truely about Oligarchy, then Aristotle's definiton was presentend without the 'Imagine a hyp. govt' and the nowadays oligarchical structures with it's forms and complexions; real life data not imagining things. And lastly, if the issues of 'mass immigrations' was 'forgotten' we wouldn't have populist politcal leaders and parties hammering these issues down. So, even the examples given with the excessive amount of AI and assumptions is by itself nonsensical. Disgusting.

We havent forget it. It is widely surpressed in order to hold up the oligarchy. Why the heck do you pretend like it is not a great plot against people to exploit the last drop of blood out of everybody? This isn't a philosophical problem. This is just greed. Nothing more AND nothing less.

Colonial-Australia began its oligarchy system at federation in 1901 and is the current system today, after the major impacts of its genocide program had "continue to change the environment as required" as agreed at the inaugural United Nations meeting in 1948. Trump and Musk will now develop and establish a major oligarchy to rule the world. War will ensue!
