The Mechanics - Carburation Generation at The Starwood 1981

Probably the best Mechanics song, later covered (splendidly) by Rikk Agnew's band Poop & released as a 45. Filmed at one of our last shows. Side note, Ozzy Osbourne was supposed to do a surprise show this night, KROQ let the cat out of the bag, so he cancelled out. Ozzy heads still showed up in droves and the last band got bottled off. Hah.

Don't know abut the parking structure but the hubcap thing sounds lie our singer. The Marquee West might have been my favorite club ever. There's even a Facebook page for it now!
